I love watching you do your thang Chick. Chris better watch out, you may try to rusty crusty him! I'm a sucker for a good sun and that is awesome. The fence looks like it has been around for 80 years. I'm looking forward to you guys decorating outside , your property is so pretty. God Bless, Hugs, Rebekah
Thanks for sharing. I’ve just found out about these products. I’ve been using it on full metal panels and it’s turning out great. Using them for my shower walls. Also I redid a set of owls 🦉 that are way old. Thanks for sharing.
I just painted a few things and put up my on wood fence today. I need the Beautiful Sun you just did to add on my fence. You did a beautiful job. Thanks for sharing.
Oh wowie, wow, wow! I love the rustification of both items. That yellow is really something else. I have always loved the copper into verdigris colors, so thanks for showing us all the possibilities, Yvonne.
I found a metal owl picture and I ordered the Dixie Bell iron paint and the green and blue sprays from Piglet’s Closet to make it rusty and crusty! You have definitely inspired me. ❤
Thank you so much for all that information! I have been so excited to try this but hesitated on what Dixie Bell product to buy! Now, not only do I know what to buy, but how to do it! Your the best & I am your biggest fan & I have all my buddies watching you too! Keep up the the great work! You inspire me❤
Loved the sun but wished more turquoise on the half windmill. When you are doing this technique I can’t hardly wait to see the results!! Love love ur taste
Oh my goodness, Siobhan that sun you did was absolutely gorgeous, it amazes me just how you can take it from shop bought and within a couple of hours it looks like it's been in the garden for about 10yrs. I just find the whole process fascinating. Well done on another great job. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖
Thank you for reminding me about the things for outside trinkets I put five different things I had to remake over this year I thought I could do it over the winter months but I didn't 😮 so I only have one month to get it done. I am so pleased with all of your diy in this video. That sun was one of my favorites where can I buy some of those patina I look on Amazon prime and saw some but I think there's so many to choose from but I just love that look. Great video thank you for sharing your beautiful work.❤❤❤❤
Superb job on that sun, & love the music you picked with the sun. Made me want to get up & move, but I'm on oxygen. Can't believe how real the windmill looks. Looks like it was outdide for years. Thanks for taking the time to show us.
OMG, you have that rusty crusty technique down perfectly, it’s better than what nature could do. The sun is gorgeous n the windmill looks as if it sat in a barn for years. Both pieces are perfecto! ♥️😊👍👍👍🌟
I love your rusting techniques. I think I've watched every video showcasing the dixie bell patinas and it's been intetesting to see how your technique has changed over time. I've been wondering why you started using the red primer and I think you answered that question. I'm not sure if I actually noticed the difference between the two projects but both were awesome! I hope you wear some kind of ppe when using this product. Stay safe!
Oh, my heavens! The transformation of the sun is gorgeous!🎉 The windmill looks like it came straight off the farm! Beautiful!❤ Thanks for sharing! Blessings!😊
I had a sun like that hanging on the barn. It was my Mom's and it had fake rust. My dear husband repainted it bright yellow for me. He is so thoughtful
Hello. I am wanting to try the Dixie Belle patina product. I am looking for the green patina look. Which products do I use for that look more than the red rust look? Thank you.

I have a moon/sun and dixie belle patina. What part of Michigan do you live?
Lower Michigan
What about the green or turquoise? Do you need to something different for that color? These are great!
You’d use the copper paint instead of the iron paint
I love the way those turned out. Looks like they've been out in the weather for years.
THE SUN IS BEAUTIFUL
Love, love, love that sun!!!
I just added it to my list of items to look out for this garage/estate sale season.
