I want Dollywood to do the same thing with Blazing Fury. When I say that, I don't mean that they should take it out and rebuild it somewhere else. I would just update the special effects on that ride in the same way that they'll be doing it on this one.
It really isn't a renovation. They are building a new FITH in a totally different area of the park. The original ride will close and be removed after this season.

The OG Fire in the Hole was a fun family coaster, but the new Fire in the Hole looks to be a better family coaster.

True, but the new ride is heavily inspired by the old ride and uses a similar theme, story, trains, and it keeps the splash down.
