Redline is one of my favor movie, It'a way better than fucking beautiful when you're on acid. Goddamn, I've never been so sucked into a movie. It was so intense! Hands down the best experience I've ever had watching something
Yes, totally recommend. The intensity of the movie is amplified so much more by the drug, really makes it a gripping experience. Even though I had seen the movie, I couldn't even follow the plot. The series of events just seemed so random, but I knew the significance of each scene and knew when a good one was coming up.
@@aroundtheworld9552 They are completely different. Redline is an action scifi. There's different races of species. Races take place on different planets etc. It's all about just being a fun and chaotic ride. While initial d is plain old street racing and a story more grounded towards realism.
@@aroundtheworld9552 Redline is a lot more fantasy and a lot more emphasis on the visuals, everything looks amazing. Initial D is about racing in Japan, Redline is about racing in fucking outer space.
This films deserves my 10, because it does what it is trying to do perfectly. Beautiful art, fast paced story with some well executed down time, and a perfect experience! Another great Madhouse production has hit streets.
Redline is amazing, but I think it's so much lighter in tone that it will not make the same KIND of imprint. Shows like Eva and the movie Akira sort of scarred me in a good way when I saw them. Redline was just a sweet ride all the way through (pardon the bad double-pun).
I gave Redline a 10, not because it is a perfect movie, but because it does so many things so well that it doesn't deserve anything less. Redline is just pure fun, shooting into your heart on a gold-nitro blast of awesome. Don't miss out on this fantastic movie.
A common criticism of Takeshi Koike’s Redline is that it chooses style over substance, to a fault. In principle, I should be against the concept of style over substance.
Well, Akira, anyone who has watched anime knows Akira, you may not know what it's about but everyone has heard the name. Akira is definitely the most and possibly most talked about anime there is. But is Akira good is the true question, is it good, the answer sadly is no.
Epic Anime? Yeah, that\'s true... Good Anime? That\'s for you to decide... I know this Anime is a Classic, and that everyone thinks this is the best Anime ever... However, that is not the case... This Anime starts and ends horribly... And, I got bored the second time watching it and stopped halfway through... This Anime does have some good parts, however, I do not see why I must suffer through all the bad ones for them... This is a decent Anime, the best of all time? no.
AKIRA アキラ、小学生の頃になんとなく観た時の印象は、怖くて気持ち悪くて子供ながらに観てはイケない物を観てる様な感じと記憶しているけど、大人になった今も幼少期のイメージそのままに強烈で凄まじいエネルギーを持った映画でした。
小学生の時、映画館で初めて観て、怖くなって映画館から出たのを憶えてます（笑）数年後、原作を読んで、あの時代の漫画とは思えない世界観に驚き感動しました〜カッコイイ！
