I just found you and subbed, also. Your first house (seeing it fir the first time) video popped up on my feed a day ago and, out of curiosity, I watched it. Then the next one was the year in review. I must say that I am impressed that you two have stuck it out with your derelict house renovation. It appeared to very very daunting, I would imagine, even to someone with experience. It is good to be young, energetic and fearless. I gathered from your one year video that you’ve acquired animals and planted a garden, so decided to go back and watch your videos in order. Again, I am impressed that you are making good strides with your house and are creating a homestead.. A tiny bit of advice??.. Less “dramatic flair” for the camera and more just real YOU. Looking forward to catching up to speed on what you’ve accomplished.

And the big knife, I was afraid he might lose a finger! If you have a face mask, do wear it when removing stuff from the wall, or ceiling or cutting wood. If you breathe in the particles it can be very damaging to the lungs, and where mice have been you could get a serious illness from their feces if you breathe it in.
We barley used it as it wasn't able to heat uo the house, but definitely a good idea! Now it's already gone. Check out the full playlist and there will be some videos on our new stove 😊❤️
@@DoBeDiff What ever kind of wood stove you are using, I always kept a tea kettle, one that doesn't whistle with water on it. This will keep the air from drying out too much, and if you want a cup of tea, it will always be hot for you.
I truly appreciate being able to have these kind of tools, without them the work would be much harder and longer! They aren't the most expensive, in fact they are the cheapest tools in the store but they are good enough for me! 😊

Keep a large pot of water on the stove to use for bathes and dishes.. it's a wood stove the heat s always on so use it.
