Awesome! I was already using the skeletons but positioning them wrong and they ended up dying from the explosion of the elementals.

Great Guide!! I don't personally have the Rime talent, but my thought was a coordinated team, where one person defends the base, while the other unbounds and executes... but I haven't had the time to test it.
i had the same idea after we couldnt death wave enough. It didnt work out even with full base hp cause the cycle for Execute is too big and the unbounds die immediately in p3 because of the earthquake around garr

I did similar with my partner. He did the Drakk deathball, an I helped with Tirions.
I cleared Elementals with Harpies, Bandits and Pyro.
Nice guide! good job with the skeleton army! Sadly you will need Drakkisath and Tirion for Golemagg as well, so pick the lowest for this fight. Don't forget about Garr's Chain Lighting with Brilliant Flash talent!
Everyone keeps saying this “save Drak/Tirion for later bosses” but those bosses are significantly higher level and much harder for most of the player base. I think it’s fine to aim low the first week and throw your best army at Garr to get the Mythic tome and another 100 valor, then worry about how to level up and prepare for Geddon and Golemagg next month.
@@mafic6181 Geddon can be done with level 23 units easy. Golemagg is a death ball hard boss where you need again drakkisath and tirion 😃

Me and my guildmates used Sneed and Baron too and worked well. I used Sneed with War rider to get the towers (siege talent), orge magi to frost and AoE, WD with shield talent, shaman with tower heal, poison harpies, and execute. Most important is after your two towers get damaged, prepare Sneed and War rider to claim them asap and get control before you get overwhelmed.
I think he also aso chain lightning as mini spell

I think he also cast chain lightening as well? Also, garr casted earth quake on my mini which nullified my with doctor’s shield. Was it supposed to happen?
Indeed, he does cast Chain Lightning with the stun talent. He also has a dot effect on minis from phase 2, but the deathball has far too much healing for it to matter.
@@OldGuardian it became problematic when the earth quake got rid of my shield and my troops die to the elemental explosion, I will make some adjustment
Yup, at 6:20 in the video, Chain Lightning took out a bunch of skeleton mages.
My Garr had spear throwing trolls that ate into the mages
Tough with everything reliant on Rime. Any recommendations without it?

I dont have rime and havent seen it since the start ive been playing for MONTHS...
You only get talents in your GRID if you upgraded the mini but did not purchase a talent. So if you went to Uncommon and bought a talent that wasn’t Rime, you won’t see a new talent until you upgrade again. Then after upgrading you should see a new talent the first GRID refresh. If it’s not Rime, cycle 3-4 times the GRID and Rime should pop up.

how do you even reach level 21 as f2p? I've been playing this game for months, doing every single daily quest, arclight, darkmoon faire, blingtron, claiming free gifts regularly, heroics cleared up to 100 sigils so far, but my units are only around level 16 and there's hardly any experience gain
The account was started at global launch and I mostly stopped progressing on it a couple of months ago to keep it at a suitable level range for Heroics. Never grinded a bit. So, how do you not get there after months?
What’s missing from your list is Dungeons. Did you do those as well? Because they are important to improve your army slots. Each army slot progresses through bronze/silver/gold and gives the mini assigned to it +1/+2/+3 levels.
I started playing Warcraft Rumble after a week after global launch I think, as F2P as well and I have very similar levels of my minis to OldGuardian's F2P account so definitely you're missing something - maybe dungeons like @herzbube102 mentioned?
@@kacperwawszczyk base level of my minis overall is around 16 - so lvl 19 with golden army slot bonus.
nice, but your skeletons need to be lvl 24 or they die to spells
I have done the boss with level 21 and 22 skeleton party. They are more vulnerable but can still do it.
@@OldGuardian ill retry it today, spend an hour yesterday, sometimes it worked, other times i got cleared by one spell or troll ravaged the whole row and then the core solo with infinite amount of fury

I'm so confused... The boss seems to use this earthquake ability directly on my healball, which kills all of them unless I get 4+ healers out at the same time to heal past it. I have not seen any mention of this mechanic in this video or anywhere else I've looked. There also seems to be some type of mini explosion that the earth elementals do seemingly randomly, which isn't as powerful as the final blast, but will kill any weaker units it hits.
I get so annoyed watching these videos because you make it look so easy with such low level units. I have an average level of 26, my GF has an average level of like 20 ish - and we can't beat it. During phase 2 the earth quakes he casts directly on our units kills them too quickly, I defend on my side and help her push hers - if I focus on defending ( I don't have the skeleton party w/ runes) then her units get wiped when the boss earthquakes one unit amongst the healball.
I had only played the Tirion part when making this video, but now I have a bit more insight into the earthquake damage-over-time effect. With sufficient levels, you can just ignore it, but at lower levels, you can bait it as the deathball player. You can send a Pyromancer through the long route or drop a Dark Iron Miner far ahead of your push to get it to one of those first, as they will be further than your push, so that you will not have one in your main ball immediately.
