just last night I logged off in a building. and this morning I logged on, and spawned back into that building but there was a guy with a purple coat on by a fire legit 2m away from me when I spawned, I got 2 words in through the mic before I took a 12ga to the face... DayZ in a nutshell...

I see what you did there. When you took those hits and got into the bush, instead of returning fire you crawled deeper into the green to avoid detection and he assumed you got dropped dead so he focused his attention to another player and then after that he came back to loot your body but couldnt find it so he presumed that you managed to escape the situation long before but in reality you were waiting for him to either make a mistake or leave. Thats how you play DayZ
The way you use music is astoundingly freaking cool. You build the tension and gets me going. And I'm not even playing!! Awesome stuff tope!!!!

I’ve been through so many servers, groups and experiences but I still remember them all very well. I constantly bump into old friends, old enemies and it brings back a lot of memories
I’ve recently just started up a new group of randoms that have all gelled together so well, we’re dominating the server we’re on right now. That’s what DayZ is about.

After killing an opponent, you keep the current gear or completely swap it for what your target was using.
The difficulty would be in locating the right opponents to fight at the most opportune moments.

I just don't understand the selective sweeping. Like if he knew he was in there OR assumed someone would be, sweep everything. But if you're not going to sweep it all why sweep anything? Like I rarely sweep unless it is a super hostile area or I just heard shots in the area, but I'm not sweeping anything in a random house lol.
@@conorcarrigan5543 Thats exactly how you die in DayZ mate, anyone who at least think they heard something or someone will stand perfectly still until a certain point, if you enter a house you either sweep before looting or sooner than later someone will catch you off guard like he did, the ONLY time i get to loot more "chillin" is when i spot a village without zacs then they spawn when i get closer wich means im the only player around and even then i will not linger there for too long
@@phenr1r I get that, but you either clear or you don't. If I'm just mindlessly looting a town, I'm not clearing anything. But if I'm clearing for sure I'm clearing everything, even behind doors where people like to sort of trick play people. But in-between makes no sense to me. In this scenario I get it a little bit, if someone was hiding, that spot isn't really expected, but if you're clearing the 2nd room, why skip clearing the first?

But if you feel the need to clear one room, you better full clear them all lol. It happens though I get it, maybe that dude will never skip that corner again, or maybe he never dealt with the thought that someone could be standing there and not visible hence no need to clear. Regardless Berezino isn't a bad place to wake up :)

I often play on alteria, and youre right, Ive met very few friendly players. Usually I just kill on sight now. But I have had some people sneak up close to me and offer food and other goodies and they were always actually friendly. Had some guys on top of a building in cassandra kill my friend while he was crossing a field. I pulled out my Bk 18 with just iron sights and popped the dude in the head from 486 meters LOL. Then I got blasted shortly after from the other guy on the roof. Love that map though. Have had some amazing fights.

Tried this game a couple years ago and couldn’t live for more than a few hours due to starvation and not knowing how to fight zeds.. reinstalled a couple days ago and I think I love it.. also I got killed over and over again by kitted sweats.. but that’s day z for you..
