I've been teaching for over 40 years and have never heard of using your tongue to create vibrato. Always have used and taught using your jaw. Interesting concept. Seems to me it would get in the way of tonguing a passage and using vibrato at the same time...

I have had a problem learning vibrato. This technic works for me. On the Tenor sax, is that one of the SYOS mouthpieces?
