Villian? Easily Clarence Boddiker from Robocop 1. He had better one liners than even Robocop, was intimidating, and hes the one who killed Murphy. I like Ed-209 more than Cain. Cain's design was great, but I think the 2nd movie was a bit of a mess. Read the comic based on the original script (Frank Millers Robocop). Cain himself isnt even in it or even the Nuke drug, and the female doctor is the primary villian.
The officers used as robocop prototypes were unsuccessful due to their psyches instantly shattering from the horror of being a brain in an unfeeling metal shell.
Apparently, the lady doctor who picked Cain to become Robocop 2 decided he was the right guy for it because he "wanted" a kind of immortality that he thought he could get from Nuke and would actually enjoy the transformation. Not so much, Doc!
Cain was terrifying to me as a kid, somehow realizing (even then) that Cain lived inside this shell without being able to do anything apart from being a monstrous machine being driven around to hunt for people. Robocop, certainly couldn't eat pizza, but he could talk and interact with people, go into cars and houses, and use everyday objects. People perceived him as a person, even if OCP tried to make him out to be a robot.

I can understand why he killed his girlfriend. I mean she and hob left him in the hospital to die. They were responsible for his transformation. And on top of that she told him that his new condition will be great. She asked for it and she got it.
She basically reminded Cain that his new condition won't be able to allow him to make love to her anymore. (by saying it will take some to getting used to it, in warehouse)

(Excuse my lengthy comment. I SUCK with summaries)
Though the early script reveals that Robocain was meant to talk. Mainly about how he enjoys being immortal and is able to kill every sinner. (It was when Cain's character was suppose to be much more religious than in the final movie) And Robocain's non-canon dialogue from Data East's Arcade Game:"Alright, Robocop! Let's get down to business!"
@@Sledgex3 I also suspect that the shooting script had Cain talk in at least two scenes (the encounter with Angie, and after consuming a canister of Nuke mear the end).
0:37 It's more likely that OCP sought to rectify perceived weaknesses in Robocop 1's design by reducing the influence of the organic part of the system and increase overall predictability, rather than any inherent flaw of the person inside. They didn't want any more of the "stalking Murphy's wife" stuff from new units. Of course, the executive tampering would drive them insane.
I have seen all the Robocop movies, including the made for tv movies, however i have yet to see the old Tv series nor more then one or to of the cartoons. My favorite robocop movie was the reboot as it is a nice update to the classic's. i also liked the Murphy was faster, stronger and more agile then the classic version, however would have preferred that his hand was not left flesh. i also liked that he seemed to have a more modular construction and could swap parts out easily for more situational based equipment. I just love the idea of being able to swap parts to fit a situation, which is likely why i like the mobile suit Leo form mobile suit gundam wing so much. However i love the gun hand from the 3 movie.
One thing that never made sense to me was why Robocain was all happy to see his girlfriend in the warehouse then he gets pissed all of a sudden and kills her?
He killed her because she and the boy were supposed to pick him up at the hospital while he was in recovering "Along from being sent to prison" Since they refused to rescue him, Cain ends up being killed for the Robocop 2 program "in which results him killing them both"
RoboCable from Prime Directives was more successful then OCP thought being identical in terms of appearance to Murphy then the two prototypes in the Robocop 2 movie.

Robocain seems to be better suited for in war zone against military units and armored vehicles
why does robocaine have x symbol on his chest what X means in robots and cybors..i see it alot
Why couldnt' Robocain talk though?
Limitations
It made him alot scarier tbh that he couldn't
Though the early script reveals that Robocain was meant to talk. Mainly about how he enjoys being immortal and is able to kill every sinner. (It was when Cain's character was suppose to be much more religious than in the final movie)
And Robocain's non-canon dialogue from Data East's Arcade Game:"Alright, Robocop! Let's get down to business!"
@@Sledgex3 I also suspect that the shooting script had Cain talk in at least two scenes (the encounter with Angie, and after consuming a canister of Nuke mear the end).
Faxx didn't want him to.
The Robocop 2 definitely deserved a BETTER movie. And it's a real shame it doesn't show up until about over half way through the film.
i always loved the Robocop 2's design reminds me a lot ov something out ov wulfenstein/Nazi super weapon now a day's
Of course, the executive tampering would drive them insane.
it was a combat model, designed to aim and shoot, nothing more
I have seen all the Robocop movies, including the made for tv movies, however i have yet to see the old Tv series nor more then one or to of the cartoons.
However i love the gun hand from the 3 movie.
what I found interesting is that robo Cain looks like a starcraft marine in armor
I love the 4 floodlights in the scene where he shoots up all the suit guys!
excellent review. Thank you for your information. Good night.
I love the design of RoboCain. the movie kind of sucks, but the robot design is awesome and terrifying. Great stop motion work!!
One thing that never made sense to me was why Robocain was all happy to see his girlfriend in the warehouse then he gets pissed all of a sudden and kills her?
I think he got pissed because he remembered at the last minute that he couldn't fuck her lol
He killed her because she and the boy were supposed to pick him up at the hospital while he was in recovering "Along from being sent to prison"
Since they refused to rescue him, Cain ends up being killed for the Robocop 2 program "in which results him killing them both"
@@JoelCraike i understood that when i first saw it, come on it´s obvious...
*The people want paradise....and they shall have it*
Why did robocain get angry at the girl and then crushed her skull
The cobra assault cannon was HEAVILY nerfed. It should have F Cain up
Yeah i thought the same, no way it was the same model, more like a miniature compact version.
@@TheKikkomaster is the same, but RocoCain´s armor can take it unlike the ED-209
It was enough to blow something off of robocain
@@TheKikkomaster it was a different model, according to the wiki
I love all of the Robocop movies 👍 ❤❤❤. One of the best memories I got when I was a kid.
Robo cain is by far one of the best robot designs ever created
I always liked the designs for ED209 and Robo2.
They should have put Clarence Boddickers brain in a similar machine.
I would like to see ed209 versus Robocop 2
Loved the old video game screens hots used.
This is one of the most scariest robot that I know of next to the T-800 during my childhood days!
Robocop2 or RoboCain looks like an Eva Unit, won't be surprised if Gainax got inspiration from this.
RoboCable from Prime Directives was more successful then OCP thought being identical in terms of appearance to Murphy then the two prototypes in the Robocop 2 movie.
I think Cain killed his girlfriend because he realized he could never feel her touch again. Enough to drive anyone crazy
Could be
Robocop 1,2, and prime detective are my favorites
I love all the Robocop movies, Ed 209 is my favorite villain also you should really do a video about who wins Robocop vs Predator ?
Even the 3rd?
@@jundsheep7599 why not?
Still have high hopes were gonna see a sequel with Robocain. And also hope they dont fuck his design hes scary just the way it is
Call me insane, but I'd like to see a sequel to the reboot, with a Cain/RoboCain as the antagonist.
Thanks so much for the cool video! The other arm you mentioned as a crusher or gripper is actually just a bolt cutter lol. I love Robocop 2 so much man, I have a copy of the new special edition blu-ray if anyone wants a copy just find me on twitter =P
No cain, no gain.
No brain
No cain
@Dirk Diggler - That's a no brainer.
"Robocop 2 was a cyborg featured on the movie Robocop 2"
Bruh lmao 😂
Also, I love your videos man 💖 keep it up
😁
Robocop vs Terminator was my favorite!
*“Sleep quickly or Cyborg Cain will get you”* 😳
How awesome would it have been if robocop had hacked an ed-209 to help fight robocain?
Next I would like for you to explain in full detail the Hammer drones from Iron Man 2.
ROBOCAIN WAS AND IS MY FAVORITE.
Almost has the feel of a bedtime story version of Robocop 2. But seriously, for me it begins and really ends with the original classic, Robocop. Don't get me wrong, I dug part 2 but it's a shadow if what the original was.
I wonder what happened to the body after the movie's event's. Did they reduce it to scrap metal or as display at a museum 🤔
Provavelmente o corpo foi guardado para possíveis testes futuros
After Robocop 2 been destroyed OCP got a whole bunch of lawsuits.
robocop 2 was my favorite 90s sci fi action movie
I thought RoboCain was cool...until he murdered Angie.
He remembers his addiction to nuke hence he didn't have his memory wiped out like Murphy. He didn't forget who he was.
They “ tried “ to wipe Murphy’s mind but it didn’t take cause his memories eventually fought their way back and Robocop realized he was Alex Murphy
robocop 1 and 2 is my favorite
I'd love to see Cain fight a very intelligent Ed-209.
Musafar the robot from the Galaxy Fight videogame was HEAVILY inspired by RoboCain.
He Bested ED209 by been able to go up and down the Stairs. Cain would had Destroyed ED209 but would had been interrelating to see him against the Yamoto Ninja Android from Robocop 3
i've just dicovered that in the videogame OB (the kid who was in the Cain's gang) has became a generic "man".
has anyone noticed how RoboCain looks so much like General Grievous from Star Wars?
And because Star Wars is set in a galaxy long time ago and Robocop 2 in the near future, that makes Cain the plagiarism, right?
The part I don't get about RoboCop is if Cain is a nuke dealer what makes the woman and OCP control him with the nuke if he needs nuke?
Didn't you see Cain inject nuke on multiple occasions?
I wonder what happened to his body. Knowing OCP they probably didn’t reuse it and it’s probably gathering dust somewhere.
*I can use that.*
