These survivors might have already closed that chapter in their book, hey might have finally felt a little bit of relief and she opened that wound back up, in the most awful way. Now everybody knows what happened to you, who you are. Coworkers, classmates, friends, family, strangers all know and everyone gets an opinion on what happened and how you reacted. It is already hard enough for survivors and yet she made this traumatizing moment for them that should have never gone public, a public debate and spectacle.
Is the live stream she tries to defend herself by saying that Drake was also a victim. That is true; I’m not gonna invalidate that, however 2 things can be true at the same time. But the sad thing in all of this, is that he was at least given the opportunity to open up and take back the power; however, his victims were not given that option. Also when he spoke up, he got to choose what information got to be out there, the public wasn’t given a full document about every part of the case. This was not something that the victim wanted or chose, Alexa did that for them, and I find that abhorrent. They were violated once again because they never gave their consent to this being publicized. I truly hope that Drake or any of his associates did not leak that information to her. Because if they did, and if she knows that, it means they are using their power to willingly re-antagonizing, harass and traumatizing the victim.
I just started looking into this and saw another TH-camr go over her response video. The journalist asking for her credentials were valid since she is apparently working with survivors and being an advocate. Confidentiality and HIPPA are super important when working in that line of business, and doxing a client like she did would have led to being fired and have legal consequences depending on who she was working with.

She likely doesn’t want to say who because they likely would be barred if it came out that they sent these documents to some random person. Confidentiality is strictly enforced in the legal and medical space.
As a CSA victim myself what Alexa is doing is completely unacceptable I hate to say it but this is a similar tactic that ab*sers use to keep victims silent. Bc so many victims don’t want the public to know every specific detail about their ab*se. I don’t know what would be worse that she was negligent enough to not know the kinds of documents she was sent or if she had someone send them to her potentially even Drake Bell himself as he would be a person who would have the right to those documents. I don’t think this was calculated but I can’t say it’s not.
To me, it seemed like she thought they were redacted when they weren't fully.. and that could just be that she saw some redactions but didn't thoroughly check & she isn't fully educated on dealing with police docs. Also, the fact the file contains way more than what's publicly available is alarming.

Plus you can see when they were requested which is before she even did a video on Drake Bell. Regardless, it's not for her to share on a public platform. It's meant to be kept confidential. FOIA is for journalists and reporters not for them to post the actual documents but to obtain the information they need to obtain.

She seems to be claiming that the documents she has are public but she either doesn’t realize that the documents she is sharing are not public and are in fact deeply sensitive or she’s lying.

This completely bypasses FOIA and endangers the victims who are in these documents.
