This whole album: Trivium have segments in their songs on this album that completely take you out of it, like a dream within the song. Then they bring you back to reality with the fucking crazy riffs, decapitating vocals, gut exploding bass lines and convulsion inducing drum fills.
If you watched their teaser vid explaining this song, Matt Heafy says that the album was gonna originally be titled after this song then they thought of a self-titled but then finally decided on the current title.
Favorite song from this album. Really liked your reaction to the chorus, because I don't feel it gets the credit it deserves, it's just so fucking EPIC.
Yeah, very cool, loving the guitarist section in the 2nd half of the song, some cool sounding riffs there, song length is not such an issue with me unless it gets repetitive, if there's multiple things going on it's all good
The album was originally supposed to be The Revanchist, then the artwork changed and the name changed to Trivium, then the art changed AGAIN and the album became The Sin And The Sentence. This would be an amazing title track.
