That quest should be removed, so many months I don't feel the need for campaign farming, it's not like I am pulling game changers every month. I hope they remove that quest and let me do levelling up just in tavern for the bare minimum I need

I'm new to this game. Full disclosure: I don't really care about it. But I chose Elhain for my starter champion. I got her to the max of rank 3, and I want to rank her up. I know how to do it in Tavern. HERE'S THE QUESTION: I farmed up a Heart Piercer to rank 3, and it doesn't even show in the 'rank up' inventory. I've ranked up other Uncommon to rank 3 - I want to keep them and make them rank 4 - which it WILL allow me to feed into Ranking up Elhain; but I'm keeping them. I don't want Heart Piercer! Howcome I can put her up on Elhain to rank? Heart Piercer is attack type, so is Elhain. It doesn't matter the element.
Campaign farming is still the best way. It's low energy cost, low run time, more XP per run, and you get food champions along the way. Get RSL Helper to make things even easier.
by the time you can solo spider 20 you start getting more xp and a ton more silver. i only farm spider 20 with 4 food these days except for the 3/7 daily and 500 monthly campaign quests
I always farm 12-6 brutal. On both 12-3 and 12-6 brutal you get 'something' + a flat rate silver. Sure, a shield is worth more than boots, but the flat rate on 12-3 is 11K, but on 12-6 it's 12K. And when you factor in the roughly 1 in 3 times you get mystery shards or a champ on brutal, I'm pretty sure that the extra 1K means that the silver is the same if not more on 12-6. The maths might be different if you're farming nightmare, though.
Nah, do an experiment & you'll see 12-3 gives more silver. Eharbad does 9 runs of 12-3 brutal & then 1 run of 12-3 normal. This hits level 20 exactly with very little XP wasted. The saving in time is worth it's weight in gold. But I do 12-6 to reach levels 29 & 39 (& then I finish them in the Guardian Ring)
@@pleasedont7439Yeah but in fairness maths is hard e.g. on a x2 the chance of pulling a lego from a blue shard is 1% so I often say "with average luck we need 100 shards to pull a lego from a blue shard" but I don't think my maths on that is right because the mercy system kicks in on the 200th shard without a lego. So I don't know how to calculate the average exactly. If we roll a 6 sided dice the average is between three & 4 but if you add a mercy system then it becomes more complicated to work out what the average is.
that's a bit of a stretch to suggest spider instead. doing it for advanced quests, sure. doing it for silver, sure. doing it for leveling champs though, nah. the 200k extra silver is nothing and will go quick. getting almost triple the XP is a lot better in terms of building your roster
I have tried leveling in dungeons but actually it hurt me a lot instead, so I went back to 12-3 Brutal. Campaign is fast and gives Mystery shards. I use Mystery shards to finish up Fusions. With enough Mystery shards, which accumulate super fast in campaign, I have not missed a Fusion in a long time, and I still have a lot of Mystery shards. When I did dungeons, I did not have that many additional resources and I had so few Mystery shards that it was scary for events. I have settled into campaign and find all events to be super easy now.
On a new account after first 60 its not bad to consider farming lower stages of brutal for xp too for some time for some time. Less XP but 4-6 for copies of Spirithosts (can make Kael even stronger with f. guardians)/ 9-6 for Warmaidens (as books, if you need her for drop def), and all those rares for Relickeeper/Justiciar fusion.
You won’t get mystery shards or champ drops from dungeons. Keep farming brutal 12-3. You will eventually run out of food champs, this has happened to me countless times because of not enough campaign runs. Those extra food will let you easily complete the champ training events which are a reliable source of books and sometimes shards.
Good point, I still want to be able to solo keeps, spider and whatever other dungeons that are possible when I need to run them. I have Venomage and might build her for that task. I think being able to solo as much content as possible is still a good idea to have an optimized account. I can duo spider 20 atm with Crypt King Graal, want to setup a solo for it eventually, and hopefully for keeps 20 as well.
No but you do stack up some Ancient shards, good for guaranteed events. Still depends on what level account you have! I do both campaign and spider depending what I need.
Minotaur is for scrolls only. You don't bring food to the Minotaur, so no scrolls get wasted. Early on you will probably have only 3 champions that want scrolls (your starting hero, your link champion and your new player promo champion).
Hi Hades Gear upgrade is insanely expensive for me. It used to cost about 1.2M per piece and now it's costing 3M - I just upgraded a boot from lvl 12 to lvl 16 and it cost me 5 Millions!!!! It started after Plarium added that lag after each upgrade attempt
Is this Spider 10 strategy viable for chimp training? You are talking about running a new account lvl 60 Kael with 4 food chimps & it got me thinking even later game account that want to get CT points & some silver could use this
The 3x difference in XP kills this strategy for leveling food champs. It's just such poor XP per energy as to make it impossible to use for training events/tournaments, where energy is already tight. And I'm of the opinion that aside from dailies, you shouldn't be wasting energy on leveling food unless there's an event going on that gets you other perks in the process. RAID is a game of resource management, and double dipping is always the way to go.
I farm for 5 star lifesteal gear. Still plenty of experience. I just got to brutal clan boss with 2 keys and everyone has 5 star boots with 40 speed and a complete set of lifesteal gear. And maybe a perception set.

It's only good if there is a spider event BC you shouldnt forget in 12-3 U get 2 and 3 stars as fodder and a 2 star is like 5 1star +a brew+ 12 K silver or so and a 3 star triple that plus 8 runs(64energy) . So in the end it is still more efficient than running spider for chickens even if U can solo it with Kael and have 4 chickens in your team.

This game is basically two things at heart, aside from the "gotcha" aspect. the first thing, is that its a game about collecting heroes, which broadly speaking, never ends. the other aspect, is farming gear, as the rng renders it almost impossible to get a perfect piece of gear, which practically speaking, never ends even more so than the hero aspect. thus, gear should, as soon as one is able to farm areas that possibly give top tier artifacts, be top priority. this tells me, that farming campaign on brutal, is a waste of energy. sure you get alot more food quickly, but from what i see, when i look at end game accounts, they are swimming in chickens and mystery shards. so i started farming campaign on normal, and only the 500 required battles, which isnt too bad to deal with, if it only costs 4 energy per run. thats still 500x4=2k energy which is still alot more than i would like to spend on NOT farming artifacts. so the goal should be, to build teams that allow for dungeon farming while not missing out on the opertunity of grabbing a top tier artifact. as recently as yesterday, i became able to farm dragon on hard 10, carrying 3 food. using just elva and gnut. im a f2p, i do all dailies, pretty much all the time, and looking at how much faster i excell than my peers tells me im doing something right. started playing when udk was released, currently lvl 90.
Spider 10 is a good use of unused auto battles overnight, due to the time involved. The you pop some five star chickens into the slots that need a lot of leveling.

I saw, that your masteries are so much further than mine (Kael lvl 59, f2p mostly, only one sin with buying 2 5* chickens out of frustration). How did you do that? Plus, I die at Spider lvl 8 w/o team... Btw, I pulled Lady Mikage after 4 weeks into the game and she´s is a hell of a heavy lifter, both, in PVE and in PVE it´s crazy!!!

Personally I farm spider for silver and use that to do most of my levelling in tavern unless I am forced by that awful quest to do campaign farming 500 times in a month. I am ftp but I choose to play at my own pace and don't go crazy with champion levelling. I wish they removed that monthly quest that forces 500 campaign battles each month - should ideally be removed or reduced to 150 so that the daily quests helps us hit it (7,3 on alternate days resulting in average of 5)
I run 500 campaign battles, no more or less really. I run hard dungeons on tourneys unless they line up with a champ training then I run solo 20 dragon with BEK, solo spider 20 with CKG, hard solo 4 with CKG, and if no dungeons with a champ training then it’s spider 20.
I love how no one takes into account the company's financial directive pyramid effect. Whatever you play on is what is currently allowed, you won't be the top ever....EVER! maybe in basic tournaments you may win...the top runners aside events- the devs (or A.I.) ALWAYS. So play as hard as you want, hours, oh God and they love this- the cash. Youll stay in that area spending that cash with never a real way to get to the top....when you do though lol- when you meet that threshhold you'll find all of a sudden the cap changes. Either a weapon addon effect, new boss, a new whatever, anything to lead you on. I say this to players that play for fun and maybe seek more, but just like gambling- play for entertainment only. These games are just another form of addiction and prey on your WANT to win/get better. No one mentions this but when you drop 5k and see the difference on what happens your game changes entirely. I say this knowing the hate feedback cause players refuse to accept this-fine thats on you. Yes I did my studying on something undeserving of my time and money. Good luck with the 0.0001% odds of a main draw, cause you WILL NOT get 2,3, and the ridiculous 4 prime killers.
Yes, it’s a minimum 1/1 energy to reward ratio for dungeon tournaments, and the DD events are easier to map as well because you will never waste energy on shards or 4-star gear
How are you doing spiders 10 with just kael. I have mine at 6* 5 perfect souls, relentless set 5-6stars only, full mysteries l, fully accended, power of 41k, account lvl 58. I'm barely on spiders 12 with kael, shinesa, giscard, xena, and ratholos he's my weakest 6star at 27k. Shinesha is only 5 star at 11k
I always see people saying to farm 12-3 on brutal to get exp, but my kale is lvl 50 fully ascended 5 star with the login lifesteal gear and 2 other 5 star pieces all lvl 14 to 16 and cant clear the story that far. How are people soloing 12-3 with kale with same lvl and gear?
I think L50 Kael was not reliable? It has been a long time but I vaguely remember using starter champs to farm campaign for awhile. Everybody moves as fast as they can to develop an L60 Fellhound or Bellower for fast campaign farming. Eventually some people move to other champs. I find Fellhound to be fine but basically, eventually there are fast solo campaign farmers, so campaign is really fast and gives shards and champs.
@@nathangomez6888 New players won't ge them right away. Pull your voids, such as right now for champ chase and 2x voids. You will have to use your starter or other champs for awhile, until you can get and build other champs. But such is this game.
I'd really like a guide on most efficient way to earn account xp, not champ xp. I'm trying to max out my referral bonuses on my main and getting alts up to 100 is painfully slow
Campaign was a ton better lol, negligible silver difference, loads more xp, champions and 3x the amount of shards. Add time to that, most can do campaign in say 30 seconds, play a bit sub 10 there really is no comparison
We need either more energy like alot more or make energy more available without paying. 15 gems for full energy flask instead of 40 gems or more ways to get way more gems. My word I can't be the only one

12-3 on normal is better than about any on Hard or brutal as well if you cant do it with 3 food. For Efficiency. Getting good gear though you'll want to grind some on Hard or Brutal or higher.

Like how he does that🤔 I'm in game 17 days and just today got my Kael lvl60 I also farm brutal 12-3 but my Kael is actually better than his with 100% crit and 150% crit dmg. and it survives 2 bombs. And I only got to lvl 42 account today, still day 17. i play at least 6hours a day, I complete eveything what gives energy. And spend it all on ex farming.
Athel is a bit more reliable for campaign farming but you don't need to do anything special, just level the lifesteal gear that is given to you (in fact the first 4 pieces will do).
This spider method seems only for whales with specific champs who can solo it, and for ftp too. You could save shards and be the most optimal in pulling and still not have champs to farm this comfortably and efficiently.
@@lukewalker308 yeah and it took how to clear it? In that time he could've done like 5-7 runs of Brutal campaign giving him more exp, champs for food and shards. That's my point, if you want to optimally run Spider you need someone who can clear it in 30 seconds or less.

I challenege you Hell Hades to run 10 battles in 12-3 and 10 in 12-6, see which really gives you more silver. Ive never seen an artifact worth 22k from 12-3
For someone who just started 2 weeks ago. They changed the starter from lifesteal to something else. I did farm some but not epic five star gear. Any thoughts?
Rofl, I can't even get thru normal and can play for about 30 minutes before I'm out of resources to do much of anything except turn the game off and play something else.
The silver isn't comparable because you only sell some of the drops (the lousy ones) whereas in campaign you're selling everything. Spider silver far outweighs anywhere else
I think new players would die of boredom farming spider. I'm doing my very first fusion. I've been playing for 6 months or so. No fusion before felt achievable. Not because I didn't have the resources but because of time. Time is the factor that never gets taken into account. If a level 20 dungeon takes 3-5 minutes to complete you're looking at 13-15 HOURS of consistent running to do an event. Not logical. That's an insane amount of time to invest. I pulled some champions that are speeding up some of my runs and making them more consistent but very few are below 3 minutes. Only spider. And only because I was around for Artak.
I just helped someone build their auto fk.. for me it seems like if you have stag and apothecary its just a matter of inserting 2 TM control and 1 support to keep everyone alive. With enough speed you can run one turn meter control but it's risky... swear that 3% chance to resist is higher lol. I haven't tried an ally attack team. Just pulled one of those guys.@@Dunkirk101

Not sure what you mean.... I just got to gold 4 and it's the easiest bracket I've ever been in. Pick your battles wisely. Tag arena on the other hand...

Heart Piercer is attack type, so is Elhain. It doesn't matter the element.

Well you might change your mind when your find out that both 12-3 and 12-6 take 10 runs to get a 2star champion to level 20

Just buy all the green shard and 2 star champions in the shop and you will never run out.

Stage 11 with Gnut took me around 40 seconds opening with A2, A1 to reduce turn meter, A3 to finish it off. Costs the same energy as stage 10.

What champions is good to solo Spider on 16? I just got my Bellower to speedfarm 12-3, but he cant take Spider 16... :)

Why does the audio for this Chanelle cut off at the beginning of every sentence on my TV but not my phone? I've seen other channels do the same but not others. Anyone encounter this?
This game is basically two things at heart, aside from the "gotcha" aspect.
the first thing, is that its a game about collecting heroes, which broadly speaking, never ends.
the other aspect, is farming gear, as the rng renders it almost impossible to get a perfect piece of gear, which practically speaking, never ends even more so than the hero aspect.
thus, gear should, as soon as one is able to farm areas that possibly give top tier artifacts, be top priority.
this tells me, that farming campaign on brutal, is a waste of energy.
sure you get alot more food quickly, but from what i see, when i look at end game accounts, they are swimming in chickens and mystery shards.
so i started farming campaign on normal, and only the 500 required battles, which isnt too bad to deal with, if it only costs 4 energy per run.
thats still 500x4=2k energy which is still alot more than i would like to spend on NOT farming artifacts.
so the goal should be, to build teams that allow for dungeon farming while not missing out on the opertunity of grabbing a top tier artifact.
as recently as yesterday, i became able to farm dragon on hard 10, carrying 3 food. using just elva and gnut.
im a f2p, i do all dailies, pretty much all the time, and looking at how much faster i excell than my peers tells me im doing something right.
started playing when udk was released, currently lvl 90.
Spider 10 is a good use of unused auto battles overnight, due to the time involved. The you pop some five star chickens into the slots that need a lot of leveling.
Why you leveling 5* chickens?
Yesterday, I tested this method on Athel and Galek - Athel also works. I'll test Elhain today.

I saw, that your masteries are so much further than mine (Kael lvl 59, f2p mostly, only one sin with buying 2 5* chickens out of frustration). How did you do that? Plus, I die at Spider lvl 8 w/o team...
Btw, I pulled Lady Mikage after 4 weeks into the game and she´s is a hell of a heavy lifter, both, in PVE and in PVE it´s crazy!!!
You can buy all the masteries with gems. It is not necessary for farming at brutal 12-3 though.

Once you get to lv 50, it is much harder to lv up. Furthermore, these CCs farming dungeon and campaign like crazy which provide them lots of xp

Personally I farm spider for silver and use that to do most of my levelling in tavern unless I am forced by that awful quest to do campaign farming 500 times in a month. I am ftp but I choose to play at my own pace and don't go crazy with champion levelling. I wish they removed that monthly quest that forces 500 campaign battles each month - should ideally be removed or reduced to 150 so that the daily quests helps us hit it (7,3 on alternate days resulting in average of 5)
I run 500 campaign battles, no more or less really. I run hard dungeons on tourneys unless they line up with a champ training then I run solo 20 dragon with BEK, solo spider 20 with CKG, hard solo 4 with CKG, and if no dungeons with a champ training then it’s spider 20.
I just farm silver in spider hard 10 all the time lol
Spider is a good place to farm ancient shards too, if you're already going to be there for other reasons.
I love how no one takes into account the company's financial directive pyramid effect. Whatever you play on is what is currently allowed, you won't be the top ever....EVER! maybe in basic tournaments you may win...the top runners aside events- the devs (or A.I.) ALWAYS. So play as hard as you want, hours, oh God and they love this- the cash. Youll stay in that area spending that cash with never a real way to get to the top....when you do though lol- when you meet that threshhold you'll find all of a sudden the cap changes. Either a weapon addon effect, new boss, a new whatever, anything to lead you on. I say this to players that play for fun and maybe seek more, but just like gambling- play for entertainment only. These games are just another form of addiction and prey on your WANT to win/get better. No one mentions this but when you drop 5k and see the difference on what happens your game changes entirely. I say this knowing the hate feedback cause players refuse to accept this-fine thats on you. Yes I did my studying on something undeserving of my time and money. Good luck with the 0.0001% odds of a main draw, cause you WILL NOT get 2,3, and the ridiculous 4 prime killers.

Yes, it’s a minimum 1/1 energy to reward ratio for dungeon tournaments, and the DD events are easier to map as well because you will never waste energy on shards or 4-star gear

How are you doing spiders 10 with just kael. I have mine at 6* 5 perfect souls, relentless set 5-6stars only, full mysteries l, fully accended, power of 41k, account lvl 58. I'm barely on spiders 12 with kael, shinesa, giscard, xena, and ratholos he's my weakest 6star at 27k. Shinesha is only 5 star at 11k

I always see people saying to farm 12-3 on brutal to get exp, but my kale is lvl 50 fully ascended 5 star with the login lifesteal gear and 2 other 5 star pieces all lvl 14 to 16 and cant clear the story that far. How are people soloing 12-3 with kale with same lvl and gear?
I think L50 Kael was not reliable? It has been a long time but I vaguely remember using starter champs to farm campaign for awhile. Everybody moves as fast as they can to develop an L60 Fellhound or Bellower for fast campaign farming. Eventually some people move to other champs. I find Fellhound to be fine but basically, eventually there are fast solo campaign farmers, so campaign is really fast and gives shards and champs.

@@nathangomez6888 New players won't ge them right away. Pull your voids, such as right now for champ chase and 2x voids. You will have to use your starter or other champs for awhile, until you can get and build other champs. But such is this game.
By getting him (or another starting champion) to rank 6, usually.
I'd really like a guide on most efficient way to earn account xp, not champ xp. I'm trying to max out my referral bonuses on my main and getting alts up to 100 is painfully slow

Campaign was a ton better lol, negligible silver difference, loads more xp, champions and 3x the amount of shards. Add time to that, most can do campaign in say 30 seconds, play a bit sub 10 there really is no comparison
I love this idea but the silver part is misleading. We shouldn’t be sellingANY accessories for a long time. I need to think more on this though.
We need either more energy like alot more or make energy more available without paying. 15 gems for full energy flask instead of 40 gems or more ways to get way more gems. My word I can't be the only one

How did you get all the books needed to max his skills?
Campaign rewards, missions and challenges give you rare books for two champions and then some.
12-3 on normal is better than about any on Hard or brutal as well if you cant do it with 3 food. For Efficiency. Getting good gear though you'll want to grind some on Hard or Brutal or higher.
12-3 on normal is for when you are only 5*, below level 50, and without lifesteal gear.

Like how he does that🤔 I'm in game 17 days and just today got my Kael lvl60 I also farm brutal 12-3 but my Kael is actually better than his with 100% crit and 150% crit dmg. and it survives 2 bombs. And I only got to lvl 42 account today, still day 17. i play at least 6hours a day, I complete eveything what gives energy. And spend it all on ex farming.

Athel is a bit more reliable for campaign farming but you don't need to do anything special, just level the lifesteal gear that is given to you (in fact the first 4 pieces will do).
I have my main account finally set up on brutal 12-3 at 7 seconds per wave, but I can't imagine what a ftp account would do.
The same but slower, initially.
This spider method seems only for whales with specific champs who can solo it, and for ftp too. You could save shards and be the most optimal in pulling and still not have champs to farm this comfortably and efficiently.

@@lukewalker308 yeah and it took how to clear it? In that time he could've done like 5-7 runs of Brutal campaign giving him more exp, champs for food and shards. That's my point, if you want to optimally run Spider you need someone who can clear it in 30 seconds or less.

Has Kael been nerfed/spider buffed since this, my 3 * awakened Kael with best gear I can find dies in 3 rounds trying this

levelling food in dungeons has never seemed worth it to me, now that I've seen the math I see why!
cycle of violence makes kael do this spider 10 farm significantly faster, around a minute.

He used the same amount of energy on both. 60 brutal 12-3 is 480, 40 spider 10 runs is 480.
I challenege you Hell Hades to run 10 battles in 12-3 and 10 in 12-6, see which really gives you more silver. Ive never seen an artifact worth 22k from 12-3

For someone who just started 2 weeks ago. They changed the starter from lifesteal to something else. I did farm some but not epic five star gear. Any thoughts?
For farming at brutal 12-3, 4-star lifesteal gear with good stats suffices.
Once you do hard DT you no longer need to do camapgin.
I hated doing that.

Rofl, I can't even get thru normal and can play for about 30 minutes before I'm out of resources to do much of anything except turn the game off and play something else.
The silver isn't comparable because you only sell some of the drops (the lousy ones) whereas in campaign you're selling everything.

I think new players would die of boredom farming spider. I'm doing my very first fusion. I've been playing for 6 months or so. No fusion before felt achievable. Not because I didn't have the resources but because of time. Time is the factor that never gets taken into account. If a level 20 dungeon takes 3-5 minutes to complete you're looking at 13-15 HOURS of consistent running to do an event. Not logical. That's an insane amount of time to invest. I pulled some champions that are speeding up some of my runs and making them more consistent but very few are below 3 minutes. Only spider. And only because I was around for Artak.
I completely agree with this. I can’t even run fk 20 without being manual, so it takes even longer.

I just helped someone build their auto fk.. for me it seems like if you have stag and apothecary its just a matter of inserting 2 TM control and 1 support to keep everyone alive. With enough speed you can run one turn meter control but it's risky... swear that 3% chance to resist is higher lol. I haven't tried an ally attack team. Just pulled one of those guys.@@Dunkirk101

The only reason to do 12-3 is for the quest. If that wasn't a factor, there is absolutely zero reason to not run Spider as anyone beyond early game.

If one can't win more than half of the fights then probably you are too high in arena, in my option.
Not sure what you mean.... I just got to gold 4 and it's the easiest bracket I've ever been in. Pick your battles wisely. Tag arena on the other hand...

I have a team that beats spider hard in 38 seconds in like 10 turns but I do have insane champs like Acrizia and Krisk as well as Gnut and Artak
