Inception came out when I was 22 years old. I remember later that summer walking down the beach during a family vacation just listening to this track over and over again, imagining my future life. For four of five straight summers afterward, I would listen to TIME, walk the beach, think about the past year and dream of the next one.
I'm 36 now. I have a wonderful wife and two small kids. I've also experienced loss, including losing my dad to cancer this year and friends in past years. Many, many things have changed.
Yet somehow, this track still encompasses all of the joy and loss and mystery and hope of TIME. It still inspires me to dream about the future while I reflect on the past.

This makes me feel like I'm an old man... I am walking through my memories. I see all the high and low parts of my life.... Everything. I walk through my childhood, an enthralling adventure when I got to know this world. I see my teen years fly by, then I go into college. I see all my friends, wonder what they're up to. I keep going, pass by some hard times. I am getting older. Eventually I make it to the present. I feel like I just summed up my entire life. I am tired. I sit down on a chair...peaceful. And then, my eyes close for the last time.

I am poor but listening to Zimmer's music makes me the richest lady on this planet! How is anything he creates even possible? I've loved music since I was in my teens, but never before have I had such stirring emotions soaring like a bird flying with majestic wings! His music bring up so many unexplainable emotions at the same time, that it leaves me in awe and wonderment and confusion because I've never known I had such emotions. My goosebumps have goosebumps and they have little baby goosebumps!! My hair stands up and I am not lying.
I feel like I could wave my arms and flowers could bloom on the streets! That I can create magic and make it Autumn season everyday. Words cannot describe what I feel. Just writing these words my little goosebumps went in to labor and delivered tiny little goosebumps!!

In my opinion, this is one of, if not the, greatest orchestral compositions of all time. Hans Zimmer's work is so incredibly inspiring, and it's all done through pianos and violins and cellos. I think the way that a song without words to connect to or just one person that's truly behind it to love can evoke so much emotion is incredible. There's no words I have to describe this song or the feelings in brings out in me, but I love it. Thank you Hans Zimmer. Simply, thank you . . .

This song just stops and makes me question everything everyone has ever told me in my life. It makes me question who I am. Why I am on Earth. What is my purpose? What is my potential? Who are the people around me? Do they even exist? Do I even exist? I encourage you to take a look around you and observe every object you can and think: Humanity made this object from scratch. Look at how far we have come as a species. We went from not understanding how fire was made, to making our species the most advanced in the known universe! But then again, How do we know that those stories about Cavemen are true if we didn't physically see it ourselves? How do we know that everything that we have been told since the day we were born isn't all just lies? It is because so many people have been taught the same things, that we all just assume that it is the truth. It very well may be but it might not be as well.

Life is a battlefield to conquer. Take your failures as challenges, conquer all of them. Nothing is impossible, every excuse is a step back towards your final goal. This is your life, make it wonderful. If you get pain, experience it, for it will be nothing when you achieve the success you have never had. Become a sadist, enjoy your pain. Be wonderful, be unique and be the one.
Stand for something that's going to help the world rather than fill it with more hate. Give someone a hug, tell someone you care. Do something, do anything but do it with love not hate.

I first heard this track in the spring of 2013. Then the big changes in my life began, at the end of the summer of that year I had to go to study in another city, in the police academy.
So much time has passed. I had to go through so many events. I had to meet so many people.
This track characterizes it all. My life. My experience.
I really missed home, my family. I wanted to go home so much. But I had to fight to the end every day.
At the end of each week, I watched my fellow students who lived in nearby cities go home for the weekend. I was one of those who lived far away and I had to stay at the academy on weekends.
I was there for long months.
Only thoughts of my family gave me the strength to go to the end.
Since then, this track has been with me, every time I hear it, I involuntarily plunge into memories.
Every time there comes an understanding that that time cannot be returned, but how sad and joyful it is to return to those times at the same time.
Since then, only memories have remained. Muffled voices, blurred faces of people I knew then and have not seen since, and probably will never see again. The bright sun of the past, which told me that it would only get better from now on.
But it didn't get any better.
It is impossible to enjoy the moment, you realize its value only with the passage of time. Only with time do you realize that this moment was truly valuable.
    Live, love, be happy.
    *Time will outlive us all.*

This song is a masterpiece. It makes my body shiver. It lets out so much emotions in such a simple piece. It makes me feel like I am looking back at all of the things I have done, it perfectly mixes the feelings of regret and gratitude to the choices I've made. It makes me feel like I need to restart my life while making me know I have to push on to see tomorrow. Time is what life is made of. It makes me want to experience everything I can before I close my eyes for the last time. Time is all we have, and some of us don't have enough of it. Think about it.. Last loved one. A passing of Friend( cut ties or passing away). family pet. No one really stops now a days to actually sit/stand or think about what has truly struck home with yourself. The digital age has brought a strong upbringing in ourselves that we forget to live and see and watch and learn what the world has to offer. Put some headphones in and go sit by a tree. Or go for a walk. Help that person that needs helping. Set the electronic down from recording and actually lend a hand. Start helping yourself and watch what happens. Trends follow smart moves. Like pieces in a chess game. Start a New Trend. Or Relive a old trend that has died off. People are fast to judge but not fast enough to Judge themselves in what they are saying. I know a lot of people wont care what i wrote but after 8 hours of listening to this while on a long walk i saw myself on who i was. and it has come to my attention that i am trapped in this era like everyone else. I for one smiled/laughed out loud to myself/cried in the past 8 hours and never thought i could see myself like i do now. Even as i am typing this to a bunch of people that will judge/hate/dislike and even just scroll pass this. I am not offended one bit. I for once is Happy to come to what i have seen today. And will make changes to hopefully to some of you in passing on the street or here. For be it a wave/smile/hello/headnod just to start with. but it will keep me going....

Wish people were more serious about things these days. Joking around is fun. But our earth and our lives are crumbling around us and all we can do is crack jokes. Its sad. This song reminds me of us. It has such hope, such strength, but its sad because the majority don't do anything to change including me.

The world is still fixable, but people can try, grow, improve. Life may be hard but why not keep playing to win no matter what. If it is hard than you can do better. Don't just sit and watch as it crumbles. There are still problems to solve, enemies to fight, people to save. If you look at the movie this song is from, when everything was literally collapsing, did they stop? No! Even in real life there are still heroes, and if you can't find any, don't leave the job to other people. If there is no light in the world then why let it stay that way. People are hurting? Then heal them. People are struggling? Help them. If I was the only person left that really cared, then I would be honored to have that chance and I would do my best to take it. But I am not. You are not. So try your best. If you fail, try again because doing anything is better than nothing. You can help.

    Like flowers at dawn
Is the path that we're drawn
    At first light they flourish
    And slowly we're nourished
    Strength filling the stem
    Breath filling our lungs
    Petals spreading open
    Fingers wriggle awoken
    Colors catching the sun
Reflecting beauty that can't be undone
Happy leaves dancing in the wind
A bright smile that has no twin
Roots that can withstand the rain
A body that will hold you firmly in place
But the sun must go down
And for old age you're bound
Until the last ray has left the sky
    Leaving you to stumble blind
The night cold seeping through the pores
Your weak bones leaving you sore
One by one all the petals have gone
Like the hairs on your head there are none
Until a black stem is all that remains
And you lie in bed to wait for the end

For a long time i have been sitting in the darkness waiting for someone else. Someone who can help me to escape this darkness. Although I thought i would wait in vain you finally came one day. And as I saw your bright and beautiful smile i was filled with hope. But you too were happy. You told me that I was the first one to have ever noticed you. That no one could see your smile and that you will remain unseen forever. I didn't want to believe that so I made a promise to you. I will show your true beauty to everyone. That is why i will shine in your place, but it will never be my light. It will always be the reflection of your smile because it was that smile that helped me out of the darkness. I will always be your moon as long as you are my sun.
I hope you liked my little story and sorry if there are any mistakes english is not my native language.

Well, sure. It's all relevant and subjective. Despite the effort you put into something, there are always other factors that CAN and will prevent you from reaching success. Take me, for example. It's taken me 25 years of playing the piano to realize that I'm never going to be good enough to play the things I want to play. So I'm quitting. After 25 years or endless playing, and working really hard at it. My right brain just won't budge enough to let my left hand play good enough.
So I lost. And that's that.
      ...
But anyways, my original post was not me. It's a motivational speech by Jared Grosman.

Hi, I failed a test a few days and was feeling pretty sad, so I came to this song to try and have something to listen to. This song has supernatural properties which caused me to lapse out of the conscious world into the realm where time does not apply. Seeing this, I decided to quickly re-enter the world to the time of 3 weeks ago so I could study harder and try again. And it worked. I got a perfect score on that test. But as soon as that happened, suddenly it became a truth that nothing had ever motivated me to want to listen to this song and give me the ability to transcend time in the first place. So here I am again, having failed the test. This paradox means that I can never undo anything I have ever done, even with my new time traveling abilities. FML

      @ilan6874 8 ปีที่แล้ว

it would be cool but you will need an insane slow motion camera. Image you have 10houres to cover with one single video of a few seconds. My camera is 25 fps so that means 25 frames (pictures) every second. Lets make a video of 4secs that means i will only have 100pictures to divide over 10hours you would notice it when the frames change so you need an insane camera but good luck ;)

    • @ConstantinSPurcea
      @ConstantinSPurcea 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

game guys In that instance a Phantom camera could record in a similar to 240p resolution at I think 250.000fps which for about 4 seconds to be turned into 10 hours can be done in 25fps, 4 seconds in 10 hours would be 225.000 fps camera. Now it can even be 8 or 10 seconds into 10 hours just to reduce the humongous frame rate to about 90.000 fps for 10 seconds. It's doable.

Man.. every beat in this song, every second.. you grow closer to death. You get such a short amount of time.. what's it for? What happens after? Why don't I get more time? No matter who we are, it's all ending at a lighting pace. Before you know it, everything you touched, smelled, laughed at, believed in, loved and had a fire for.. is gone... why is life so cruel, is it by design, or is it all a dream? We all have these questions, but some songs such as this can make you remember how short and small life is.. that truth is always there, we just forget it alot

Time, for me, is a great masterpiece. I tried to go on a personal journey through time and I wound up in a rehabilitation center. Well, here is the story...
Everyone of us is a God. We all have power. And time is just but an illusionary human construct. I say we have power because you are reading this text right now. You have electricity. During the day, we don't really need our lights on because we have natural power; i.e the sun. But when darkness sets in, we need power so we can see and do activities like cooking or charging our devices. Which means we cannot see at night unless we have electricity powered on.
Going to sleep is what has made us believe we are limited as human beings. And this is true for the most part. I didn't sleep for three days straight and I stand here today to refute this statement/allegation. The only thing that limits us is when we are disconnected from ourselves and other human beings. But when we maintain our interconnectedness, nothing stands against us. I was committed into a rehab because I went ahead and tried to prove this very fact. The interconnectedness of beings, people, and places is the only thing that will wake us all up from our slumber. It is the only thing, if proven as fact, that will strike a chord of mass consciousness across the globe and solve most if not all problems of the human condition.
If you've read this message till the end, I hope you have understood what I mean, and you are in a position to think this message over, allowing yourself to experience an ego death in a much safer and healthier way than I did.

When I hear this song, I think of the infinite of the world. I think about our mistakes, weaknesses as humans in the beginning of the song. As the song begins to progress, becoming more forceful and more suspense, I think about how our kind has survived hundreds of years, moving up steps everyday to understand the true concept of the world. How the human kind has grown over time until we hit modern day, the present day as we are a thriving nation of millions.

This is the kind of song that takes you deep into your thought process. Life was never made to waste. We all have been put on this planet for a reason, and you should live up to it. Don't waste it on the little things, choose the big things. Don't make the quickest route, make the worthy route. It's all about what your goal is. You can become your average person, who did only the necessary, you could be the good guy who went above and beyond, or you could be the legend who lived his life to the fullest. It's your choice, and don't choose the best; choose yours. We all have different goals in life, or just completely different lives. But we all have a life goal. In this song, you know your dreams could be within reach while you are reading this blob stuck in the sea of comments. But time is gold, and you only can have so much of it. All of us can accomplish our dreams, but we need to live up to our potential. I read somewhere that those who think they can change the world are the ones who do. If everyone knew, then our world wouldn't be as bad. But some of us can change the world. And those of you that do, good job. Life is a chance for you to prove to everyone that you have been put on this planet for a reason. There is nothing more important than fulfilling that reason, and it may change your life just like it has changed mine. Sorry about any grammatical errors, and thank you for your time. I hope you all do great things with your life. 😌🙂
