Found a black corsair assassin bug in my basement (I live in the mid-atlantic). At first I feared it might’ve been a kissing bug, having done some research on them before and Chagas disease. I ID’d it after a bit and decided to glove up and release it outside since they’re a natural pest control. I was reluctant to do so because I feared it might make its way back inside and bite my cat, who loves to hunt down bugs, but I didn’t want to kill it. now I know what true bugs are
The commentary.. the music.. The education! This video is perfect!
