the more Staind you do.....the more I come back and watch...."epiphany" "spleen" "Excess Baggage" "me" "you" "just go" to name a few...not many reactors react to Staind and there needs to be more people listening to Staind's music....Staind's music helped me thru the hardest thing in life i ever had to go thru....Aarons voice is soo soothing even when he screams...After going thur what I went thru Break The Cycle was repeat cd in my car and house for months....Stainds music has been my therapy since 96, but in 02 it saved me....also a lot of people think this song is about a relationship, and the video makes you think this, but it has more to do with his addiction.
What a great song. I guess you can relate it to being in a relationship but its actually a song about addiction and his journey now being in recovery. Sobriety is the new high!
This song always spoke to me, my dad was a heroin addict who died when I was 13, a few short years later I was a heroin addict myself. Clean now for nearly 10 years, the line I cannot blame this on my father he did the best he could for me is my favorite because even though I followed his footsteps early on I never blamed him for it, it was me. He was a wonderful father to me, I had no clue he was an addict until he was gone.
This song is actually about a heroin addiction Aaron went through . It’s subliminal . It’s not about a relationship with a woman, but seems it. Staind was so underrated. Always been my favorite since the beginning.
Journaling is a good thing, but when people find them and read them makes you not want too anymore. I've had that happen and I haven't been able to pick it back up since. I wish I could be its impossible not to think about someone finding it.
Me too. It sucked. Like, why would you do that? It's hard to know people read your most personal feelings and thoughts. Especially if they use it to hurt you. Betrayal.
Thank you for your insights during this reaction. In the midst of writing to process, regain memory and learn to let go. Your timing is impeccable. Cheers...
I'm new to your channel, but I'm loving your content. Mental health has been a journey for me. Nearly 25 years so far. I've had some tremendous highs, and some lows that absolutely put me on my knees. Staind helped me get through some of my darkest days. Aaron Lewis' lyrics are so honest and vulnerable. This song is good, but there are others that hit so much harder for me, personally. Whether you react to them or not, I think you'd really enjoy Epiphany, Outside, So Far Away, and For You. There are others, but those in particular are powerful in my opinion. I'm glad you're doing these reactions. You're making mental health and therapy more palatable for a lot of people with your channel. There's so much stigma, and so many misconceptions about what therapy actually is. You're exposing thousands of people to concepts and truths they may otherwise never know about. I think it's fantastic. Keep up the good work👍
You should definitely check out more of Staind content! So many hidden gems and hits they had across all of their albums. “Home” from their Dysfunction album is one I recommend.
Hey man love the videos. It’s so cool to see someone from a different generation appreciate the music of this era. I would love to see you react to the song “new chains, same shackles” by Suicide boys, your professional input on the lyrics you cover genuinely help me put my own thoughts into perspective. Keep it up!❤️
For some reason I remember this song being about his family dying in a car crash. A wife and a child. I wouldn’t swear by it but if that’s the case it makes sense.
Your not just reacting to these videos your helping me outta dark places in my life I lost 6 people in my family in a year and got cheated on with a girl I was with 7 years im trying to find myself again thank you for helping me on that mission brotha
You are thinking of the song Outside. This song he has had for years. At his shows he talks about before he was famous and doing gigs, he would play this song between covers and people would walk out.
I know you probably have a lot of suggests and probably wont do it but you should check out Invent Animate - The Sun Sleeps, As If It Never Was [Official Music Video]
A few years back, I was talking to a (much) younger buddy. He said this song sucks. I remembered the line "been a while since I've fucked up just like I always do", and thought.... in 20 or 30 years, you'll think differently.
Pease please could you try this experiment in a video: Listen to the Staind song "Break" off Tormented. Its a heavy metal song from their early days. Hang in there and pay attention to the lyrics. Then listen to "So Far Away" by Staind. Wow!!! "So Far Away" is already an amazing song but it will give you chills when you compare the 2 and see how far he came. With new music coming soon for the first time in over a decade it would be a good idea to get a head start on their music. They've had 5 top 5 albums. 😮
Was hooked on meth for quite a while. I was lucky in that I was able to put it down and walk away without rehab or anything. I was lucky to have some really good friends as my support group. Still, I sometimes find myself thinking about the time I lost how I wasn't there for my kids...
You should react to these songs by Staind, “outside”, “fade”, “for you”, “so far away”, “Right here” and “post to play” For me, could you react to Crossfade’s “Cold”
Also, if you get into Blue October please react to "Hate Me" there is a documentary following the lead singers life and his journey to sobriety. You would love it!
Yeah so, no offense, but, either you have no business calling yourself a psychotherapist and are actively taking peoples money in your “community” as a grift OR …. umm something else idk I can’t think of anything atm
Haven't heard this song since my teenage years. Thank you to the person who requested this
Same!!! Takes me right back
Its almost like... its been a while. Sorry ill leave
@@klayrozan9039 😅🤣 awesome
Your kidding me? I listen to them everyday. They have a new song and a new album coming soon
So far away is another god song as well by him
Went through 10 weeks of rehab almost 4 years ago and this song was played alot. It spoke to all of us then and is still a reminder of dark times.
Congrats for making it through ❤️

Love Staind "Right Here" is my #1 & "Its Been Awhile" my #2nd!
Loving it!

Need more of the general 'rock' genre on this channel. Love this song, great video!
Today I'm 8 months and 11 days sober from cocaine! This song has gotten me through a lot
CONGRATS!!! That is so awesome :)
Congrats! Hope you’re on your way to 2 years of sobriety :)
Aaron Lewis is the lead singer of Staind. His now doing solo tours, and writing songs solo. Has some really good ones.
This song is actually about a heroin addiction Aaron went through . It’s subliminal . It’s not about a relationship with a woman, but seems it. Staind was so underrated. Always been my favorite since the beginning.
I really wish he understood this...
Where did you hear that?
@@damarcuscolfer1485Pretty sure Aaron’s talked about it many, many times.
The lead singer is Aaron Lewis, he has his own catalog of powerful hits including "Mama; I Lost it All; and Sinner. Definitely worth a listen.🤘🤘🤘
Such a phenomenal and underrated band. Really hope to see more of them on the channel! I would recommend the song Zoe Jane next by Staind.

Omg, I used to LOVE this song when I was younger. I haven't listened to it in a while so this was great. 😌✨
Thank you for your insights during this reaction. In the midst of writing to process, regain memory and learn to let go. Your timing is impeccable. Cheers...
Love this song. Takes me back to the days when I was a young teenager and life seemed so hard...
Great song choice Rhi! 💐
I haven’t heard this in a long time but I use to play it on repeat in my teens.
Such a powerful and beautiful song makes you think about everything and that melody is so enchanting.
Something To Remind You is my #1 Staind song, it'll be played at my funeral.
I'm starting school in August to be come a therapist and I want to focus on drug and alcohol addiction! SO GLAD I found you channel!
I love that you reacted to this. Staind is an amazing band and helped out a lot of people get through many problems in their lives.

I love this song, it’s such a throwback!!! Thank you, Rhi!!! ❤
Aaron Lewis is great whether he's singing with Staind or his country stuff or solo acoustic stuff, always good 👍
Always one of my favorites!! His concerts are awesome!!!
Oh man I love this song so much. Happy to see you break it down!
Oldie but Goldie, been a long time since I heard this song and I always enjoy hearing it
Love this song!!!
Omg takes me back to right in the middle of my using years and I felt this song so hard.
Awesome awesome album
The relationship you keep referring to in this is his addiction to heroine. The candle, the taste, making it all go away... it's his ode to the drug
Your commentary really touched me. Thank you.
This is my favorite rock group and Song my Staind. Try listening to Staind "For You " and "Outside". Also DMX "Slippin " and "In the Air"
Aaron Lewis from Staind has amazing content as a solo artist too!
For some reason I remember this song being about his family dying in a car crash. A wife and a child. I wouldn’t swear by it but if that’s the case it makes sense.
"please" is another great one from Staind
I’m an Stainds biggest fan. And after 12 years they have a new single and a new album coming!
I really enjoy your reactions to these songs. Thank you
Your not just reacting to these videos your helping me outta dark places in my life I lost 6 people in my family in a year and got cheated on with a girl I was with 7 years im trying to find myself again thank you for helping me on that mission brotha
Crazy thing he wrote this song on a whim as he went live on stage one day and just started making lyrics as he went. Sounded so natural too.
You are thinking of the song Outside. This song he has had for years. At his shows he talks about before he was famous and doing gigs, he would play this song between covers and people would walk out.

The wild part is if you heard the lead singer Aaron now. He still has that same iconic voice all these years later! To about aging well
If you never heard this song you must live under a rock literally
I really agree with this haha

Omg I love this song!!!
Another great song with a great message is "Ghost" by Badflower.
Was hooked on meth for quite a while. I was lucky in that I was able to put it down and walk away without rehab or anything. I was lucky to have some really good friends as my support group. Still, I sometimes find myself thinking about the time I lost how I wasn't there for my kids...
