@@chauntellepenny8421 For anyone else not informed, Nord VPN knew of a breach 19 months ago and didn't tell anybody, thinking it wasn't a big deal. This is a very big deal for privacy, and for some, the life of activists in country's where they are persecuted.
In the mean time, they pumped out massive ad campaigns everywhere online, knowing full well of this breach.
They only bothered to tell people about it after they were caught by a third party who discovered there was a breach. Can you imagine if the third party never found it? Nord would never tell anyone.
I wouldn't give them a cent. Any ethical company would immediately disclose to the public that there has been a breach. How can you trust Nord when their primary market is centered around privacy and encryption.
The keys, however, could still have been used in active attacks, in which hackers use leaked keys on their own server to intercept and decrypt data.
She's the happiest person I know, and I don't see very much happiness here sitting in this VA Hospital bed, knowing I'm battling terminal cancer. So this may not help some of you, but it makes this former Combat Marine of 5 tours, and who was shot 7 times in my right side, smile ear to ear. Thank you Jess, and if you are EVER in Las Vegas, please come by the VA. We'd love to have this kind of happiness. Of course after this whole craziness ends. Many blessings for all the help. PS: The VA said they would contact you on my behalf to arrange for me to get a photo with you. I told them I have to stay alive now. That was their motivation. They KNOW I REFUSE to ever say WHY ME? Only WENT NOT ME. My beautiful wife and our gorgeous daughters may disagree, but I'm thankful for the time I've been given. My sister passed of the same cancer when she was 10 and I was 8. It's beyond RUDE to complain about a shortage of life when my sister was not given any. So whatever the plan is for me, IT'S PERFECT. If this was God's test of my faith, so be it. I REFUSE to ever question him and his good will. Thank you for keeping my soul and spirits high as they can during these trying times. Many blessings to you and your loved ones. Lady Devildog Any woman Marine is my HERO. I worked with tons of them and loved them all. Sadly my partner in the Corps, who I spent 3 years undercover with, was just killed on an assignment. Her new Intelligence community she works for couldn't give me much information about what happened, being that it is classified, but I'm devastated. She was actually Miss Washington before becoming a Marine, and her heart was just as beautiful as her appearance. But you ladies are a breed apart. You truly are one of a kind, and should be honored and applauded for what you did while in, and for who you are now. Many blessings my sister in arms and if you are EVER in Las Vegas, you have FAMILY. Dinner is on us. And you know us Marines, we mean what we say and say what we mean. So this is not an empty promise. I mean it wholeheartedly. Be well and keep those skates sharp. It's a Marine thing. Just like we say, stay away from those working parties, and The Rock, unless you loved Okinawa. I had the BEST base there, Kinser in Naha, but still wanted to be stateside. I'm one of the rare people who have set foot on all 7 continents, compliments of the Corps. I'm one of the married Marines, and they send Kimberly and I all over. Mean while, single Marines are begging to leave and they stay put. You know the games all too well. This will shock you, I was a Corporal before going to the dark side. I went in with a college education, but it was 6 years to sign as an officer. I thought that's too long. I can do 4 years but 6? I would have been almost 30 when I got out. What if I hated it?? I was a teacher for the deaf before joining. But when my Commanding Officer at NATO found out I had an Ivy League education, he literally sent me to OCS that following Sunday. Usually that takes times, but when you are Lt. General Munday, the future Commandant, you have that kind of pull, and he pretty much made me go. Thank God too... Be safe and don't listen to those stories about the VA not caring. The care I'm receiving is beyond words. And, when I do pass away, 6 of my 7 physicians will be at my funeral, mark my words. That's how much of vested interest they have in all of their patients. I'm beyond thankful for all they do, and to me, they owe me nothing. I see it as services were rendered and I was compensated for it. I didn't volunteer to do it for free. It wasn't the Alamo. I signed on the dotted line, just like you, and was paid for a job. 0231 here, then 0204, intelligence Operator then Counter Intelligence. But the military is the ONLY profession, not even the doctors who take care of us, are taken care of for life, but we are. We not only get free health care, but a pension as well? How can you not be appreciative that we made this crazy ass decision. I wish you the same thankfulness and sight I have, no matter what your circumstances may be, and may your dope be clocked center mass. You EARNED it, and then some. God bless my friend....
