Your friend is lucky to have a friend like you! I can tell you two are best of friends by watching your content. Which is awesome.. That new motor sounds vicious! You were rooster tailing snow, dirt and frozen dog turds. hahaha.
Haha! Yeah, he deserves it! The motor sounds amazing! Too bad I couldn't use the GTB exhaust. Maybe I can find an adapter. Loved the snow rooster tails!!
@@BMPowered we love these videos! We watch about an hour of recordings and love them. You both are quite knowledgeable & entertaining to boot. What a job you do with those powerful little vehicles.
Nice rip bro a little tip when rippin in snow use the ice spike tires or paddles or your going to tear apart your beveled diff gears and wear down your clutch shoes fast just looking out for your brother and yes Jimmy is gonna love that 45cc I know I do I got two rovan 45cc's both modified from Allen cestra at TMR performance it's a night and day difference when those 45's are modified have a great new year's and be safe and braap on my brother
Merry christmas to you mate...nice vid. I see u guys have new 45cc...cool all u need is paddles wheels now and your good to go on snow, have fun guys!!!
do you guys know of a body kit conversion for a rovan buggy that doesnt cost more than 200 dollars ? or a diy one wish i didnt give all my mechano away
I haven't looked into any conversion kits but you may be able to go to rovanrc.com and look at the parts for the RV360 truck and just peice it together. Sorry I am not much help with that...
We were going to do another snow video this year but the snow was too deep, even for the Max 5T. It's pretty much all melted away now. I'm sure we will get more and entertain the idea once again. Thanks for the suggestion!!
If the stock pipe fits the new motor shouldn't the gtb pipe considering it was on the stock motor? Love that buggy 1:5 scale gaser will be my next project next year I'm think'n. Great video!
Oh yeah, we definitely understand that!!! I saved for a few months before I purchased the Rovan 30.5 Baja 5B. It did give me time to research it, and watch videos on it and made me try even harder to save to get it sooner.
That engine comes with the best carburetor you can put on it . Anything else is a downgrade . Best upgrade without porting is the TMR PERFORMANCE rear dumper or long neck side pipe that will be available at www.rovanrc.Com in the near future . They are almost done making them. Don’t waste your time with heat cycles it’s a complete waste of time and is not beneficial in any way . When pull starting the engine , pull the pull start a tad to engage and then give a firm pull . Do not yank like you are . These pull starts are very temperamental when it comes to snow or dirt getting caught in the pawls on the starter cup . The springs don’t fail very often at all . Last thing is to beat on that Engine , do not feather that throttle like you are , that’s the fastest way to end the clutches life and the spring not to mention the crank bearing and seal on the clutch side . You seem like a good guy trying to show off the fun hobby and i figured i would try to offer some advise . Al, TMR PERFORMANCE RC
Thank you for all that information!! we hear so many conflicting things to do and not do with heat cycles and carbs, and the like. We really appreciate your input and keep it coming. We love the hobby and our TH-cam family. Thank you so much. So today, I'm just going to rip that 45 and not worry about breaking it in anymore.
@@BMPowered you will not have any issues just enjoying it without the nonsense of break in or heat cycles . While this video is old I'll never understand why people buy these rovan motors. You can get a real 32cc zenoah for almost the same price and have a faster more reliable engine from Japan..
You have to mix 25 to 1 ratio of 2 cycle oil and gasoline aka petrol. The engine must have the oil mix or you will ruin it. We use smokeless Lucas 2 cycle Synthetic oil 25 to 1 ratio.

Nice RIP! I did that in the snow before with my baja! But you should check ur bearings like mine couple of them rusted and seized! Great vid!
Thanks for the tip! I thawed it and dried it off right after. Hope it helped!
Now it's time for paddles
Yep!
Will I need to upgrade the gears to be able to handle the power? Also can I use the stock 30cc exhaust for the 45cc engine
Merry Christmas and a happier new year

Gotta put a plow in front of the thing
If you bring the sensor closer to your heat source the temp gun will probably be more accurate. Good ripp'n my dude!
Your enthusiasm is great to see. 😎😎😎
Pull start prolly ain't broke. And it shut down cuz it's packed with snow. Motor got too cold Lol.
Yeah, the spring broke. I just bent it to catch the plastic piece again. All better.
Hola! Me podría decir como podría arrancar un Rc 1/5 gasolina sin el tirador? Hay alguna otra manera que no sea con el tirador...

Yes

Friend I'm wanting to change my 29cc fuelie for a 45cc, is there a lot of difference in power?
Yes, there definitely is. Especially if you get a grest quality engine.
Wow it looking very good
Thanks!!!
LOL YOU NEED PADDLES
Yep, for sure, lol
Does a 45 rovan has more power than an rc max 40?
I honestly don't know. Guarantee you it's cheaper, lol.
It has more low end than that 40 meaning muscle Torque but that’s about it! That’s why they are perfect for a four-wheel-drive

How many tanks you get out of one of these 45s
I apologize, I'm not sure what you mean. It will run for about 15-20 min on one tank depending on how hard you run it.
