I don’t think that’s fair to say he put all this stuff out there in the public. The tabloids wrote about him, his wife, his family for years and they stayed silent, even in the face of lies. The interviews he has done and book he wrote is him telling his side or his truth and he’s entitled to do that. When the information is public to begin with, he has a right to PUBLICLY defend himself. It was never private family situations when everyone knew about this stuff already from the tabloids and there was a negative spin on him. I don’t personally like Meghan but he’s doing the right thing by protecting his wife. The commentary I see from British people (especially women) about her seems TOO hateful and aggressive. You may not know that these allegations are decades old, William took the tabloids to court, he was awarded 1M£ compensation and donated it all to Harry’s INVICTUS charity. Charles, Catherine & William were hacked, bugged, & spied on many more times than Harry. In accepting the settlement money from his brother he turned that page and got on with his life. The tabloids changed the rules, the law was changed on tabloids & journalism after his mother died. It was a big deal here & people lost their jobs. The RF was legally protected invasion of privacy from journalism from then on. Catherine & Camilla had a horrendous time with the press, Harry & Meghan had nowhere near the volume or tone of the press here. This isn’t Palace leaks (that one big story was explained by a man working at the palace mentioning the information to his wife (a journalist), and She spoke to someone who wrote the article. It was all traced back… Harry pushing this point again now that was dealt with effectively in court decades ago, is not just illogical, it’s making him & his family ever more in the news.. which is the opposite of what he wants. The law was changed, it won’t be changed more because of him now as it’s been done. Qe are individuals, but I struggle with Princess Diana death being used to account for Harry behaviour. I lost a man at the same age as Harry in worse off circumstances. Re racism: when William was asked ‘are your family racist?’ right after Oprah, where was Dragon Slayer ‘I want to promote honest news reporting’ Harry’s statement stating that he never said they were racist? He was happy for the press to run with that whole story, damaging to the Royals. Again, convenience.

The interviews he has done and book he wrote is him telling his side or his truth and he’s entitled to do that. It was never private family situations when everyone knew about this stuff already from the tabloids and there was a negative spin on him. You may not know that these allegations are decades old, William took the tabloids to court, he was awarded 1M£ compensation and donated it all to Harry’s INVICTUS charity. Charles, Catherine & William were hacked, bugged, & spied on many more times than Harry. In accepting the settlement money from his brother he turned that page and got on with his life. The tabloids changed the rules, the law was changed on tabloids & journalism after his mother died. It was a big deal here & people lost their jobs. The RF was legally protected invasion of privacy from journalism from then on. Catherine & Camilla had a horrendous time with the press, Harry & Meghan had nowhere near the volume or tone of the press here.
This isn’t Palace leaks (that one big story was explained by a man working at the palace mentioning the information to his wife (a journalist), and She spoke to someone who wrote the article. It was all traced back…

Qe are individuals, but I struggle with Princess Diana death being used to account for Harry behaviour. I lost a man at the same age as Harry in worse off circumstances. My life after was even far worse off, but I lost it, but it has never been an excuse to cause others' pain.

The tabloids and uk press were an issue before the Oprah interview, Netflix, and Spare but that would men Jane would have to admit her role in the issue. The American platforms were the way for Harry and Meghan to tell their side of the story given that the other members of family have deals with the tabloids and uk press.
I don’t think anyone has deals with the press : the law was changed protecting the Royal Family after Diana’s death. They are not allowed to snoop or take unauthorized photos of the children etc. It was a big deal at the time & the press is much much better since. It’s not the problem it was when Diana was alive. That dragon was killed in the 1990’s
