PM Narendra Modi: ভারতীয় দল বিশ্বকাপ জিতে দেশে ফেরার পরই গিয়েছিল প্রধানমন্ত্রীর বাসভবনে। সেখানে ক্রিকেটারদের সঙ্গে প্রাতঃরাশ সারেন নরেন্দ্র মোদি (PM Modi)। ফাইনালে দক্ষিণ আফ্রিকাকে হারিয়ে বিশ্বকাপ (T20 World Cup 2024) জেতার পরই দেশে ফেরা হয়নি ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটারদের। হারিকেন বেরিলের জন্য ক্যারিবিয়ান দ্বীপপুঞ্জেই আটকে পড়েছিলেন রোহিত শর্মা, বিরাট কোহলিরা। পরিস্থিতি কিছুটা স্বাভাবিক হওয়ার পর অবশেষে বিশেষ চার্টার্ড ফ্লাইটে দেশে ফেরেন ক্রিকেটার ও সাপোর্ট স্টাফেরা। বৃহস্পতিবার নয়াদিল্লিতে ফিরেই প্রধানমন্ত্রীর বাসভবনে যান ভারতীয় ক্রিকেটারেরা। সেখানে প্রধানমন্ত্রীর সঙ্গে চা চক্রে যোগ দেন। গোটা দলকে অভিনন্দন জানান প্রধানমন্ত্রী। 'প্রথমে ভাবিনি ক্যাচটা ধরতে পারব', মোদির সঙ্গে আলাপচারিতায় জানালেন সূর্যকুমার। 'প্রথমে ভেবেছিলাম চার বা ছয় হওয়া আটকাতে হবে, তারপর সিদ্ধান্ত বদলাই', বললেন সূর্য। ABP Ananda Live
