Back in the Day, and I remember when this Freighter was Named Buffalo and, she Sailed for American Steamship Company Colors. I,also took a Picture 📸 📷 of the Buffalo, while she was Sailing ⛵️ Upbound on the St.Clair River. And, to this very day and I still have the Picture of the Buffalo in American Steamship Company Colors. I,took the Picture in the Early 1990's. 3:39
Horn setup sounds like a Kahlenberg Triton KPH-130 and an airchime SCKM-85. Quite the delay on that SCKM-85 though, i reckon the KPH-130 is atop the bridge and the 85 would be on the foremast.
Paul got a favor to ask. Can we get an approximate air temperature when you shoot your videos. Just in the winter. We know it’s always sunny and 75 degrees in the summer.

It’s definitely not 75 degrees in the winter… 😆 It was about 29-32 Deg F that day at the Superior Entry. I'll try to add that to the vid info! thanks for the idea!
Nice to see one departing off Wisconsin Point, and a salute. Well done.
Glad you enjoyed it! Every once in a while I tromp over there to catch a vessel.
My first time ever seeing the Algoma Buffalo. Great salute! ⚓📣👍
Glad you liked it! Last time she was in the Twin Ports was 2019, been a bit.
That was brilliant, the horn actually made me laugh out loud 😂
Thanks!
That was cool I like the horn and the salute. Thanks Paul
You're welcome!
a very important ship, even has a city named after it!
LOL, indeed it does....😁
Well, that was cool😊
Thanks!
That was a different kind of salute!
Any salute in Superior is greatly appreciated! No bridge to reply and a lot less people to grab the attention of the Captain.
Loved it

I'll have to dig in my archives , If she visited the twin ports, I most likely have a pic of her in the ASC colors
That's quite a horn!❤
I was quite surprised, been 5 years since I've seen it, forgot what it sounded like!

I'll have to trust you on that, I do not have that good of an ear for the horns !
I hope she gets a coat of paint during layup.
Sand blasting 1st...

She should still be in ASC colors
Not sure she'd look any better though. Seems like they are on the same paint schedule.
The Alogma B I can only imagine what her crew affectionately calls her
I wonder, now that you bring it up!

@ It’s more for my appreciation of your work to bring us these amazing videos.
Well we know when the paint budget ran out, don't we. Wow.
I had to edit out my comment......it was not Tube friendly, Ironic the Port side seemed to have a wee bit less patina...
Obviously, where the Buffalo roam they have a different call.
LOL
