Wow...what a great restoration project and nice to see an old classic back on the road. She looks amazing and love that colour, goes very well with all that carbon. Would love to see it up close. Got to love a classic mini regardless of your age.

Interesting build. You completely missed some additional traction when you put those tires that are not wide enough on those wheels. You could have easily added at least two more inches of tire width on those wheels and gain more traction and grip.
agree. A quick look at project Binky on youtube shows you what is possible with a mini and a big motor. A big bloody hole in the bonnet is the only dislike for me on this. Other than that, it looks great! I think I would have even preferred an offset 'faux scoop' to the big hole!
Those people have ruined a good car, I thought it going okay until the fake carbon fibre and the hideous dashboard, but thankfully it's not mine and I don't have to look at it
Carbon fake fenders over a tin can body don't make it a "Carbon Mini", and neither do these mild steel frame thingies in front of the passengers compartment to hold this way to bulky engine somewhere near the Mini front (mostly outside of it, unfortunately). So apart from the door handles and rear view mirror, what percentage of this is actually genuine Mini? I have a Honda 50 that does 200mph Well it's got a titanium hand built frame and a Hayabusa engine but the indicators are Honda 50

mini is a stupid car, is not even a car, bad everything, with an honda engine or a opel engine, probably will go faster :) there are so many real cars that you can make good projects and yor gonna invest in a shit hole. Good luck

Good end result but I think the photos before the great paint job should have been looked at and maybe retaken so the were in focus.
