Good to hear that you did not fry some decoders. If they are Digitrax decoders, sometimes they get a bit stuck and/or forget who they are. I have had at times to reset the decoder to get the decoder get out of a consist. Each brand has its own quirks. Nice runby…..John
Joe good to see the train running. I think you said you had trouble taking engine out of consist? How I do that is change CV19 to a value of 0 setting CV19 to Zero will clear the consist for that engine.

I think everyone in this hobby has times when #$&$ happens. 🤬 Two days ago, I tried to consist 2 locos with JMRI for first time ever. BUT mistakenly entered a number different than what I thought I entered. Wouldn’t run and I couldn’t get locos to run after trying to de-consist them. Same problem you had, sound but no run. Finally got one working myself but had to take the other to hobby shop. Mike fixed it quick.
