Thanks for your sharing, why not check the deflection of RC Cantilever beam? Is it necessary to check or not? incase we have brick wall on top of it?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The initial depth assumption is already based on deflection criteria. But still if we want to check it again for deflection with actual provide steel area, we can do it to get more confidence in the design.
