My "tactic" for these kind of skirmishes is to capture as much ground and resource points as possible, then build an impenetrable defense, then follow up with fabricators. If i'm not dead by this time, then i've won already, the rest of the game is just struggling to clean up bases. Haven't tried this thing in vanilla RW, not going to anytime soon. The tricky part is balancing spendings and dealing with 3 different attacks at the same time or with constant stream of artillery barrage and cannon fodder units.
Also, i always keep about 40 interceptor-ish aircrafts, in case experimentals show up. Like experimental bomber that can one-tap half of your defences and survive just because it's too lazy to die.
Yeah it actually takes longer in vanilla. But with the mod pack I have. You can just Brutus spam to victory. At 140k a pop it isn't cheap obviously. But it's much easier to make a defensive line in the mod pack than in vanilla.
@@raven67854 i recognize most of the buildings, but i forgor that mod's name 💀. Moo's Defence Agency? EK Sylvian Mettle thing? Anyway, those 11k$ twin barrel bunkers have saved me many times, sometimes only one of them could stop the AI from advancing for about 5 minutes. Usually that was enough to get the engineers to get in and reinforce everything with more twin bunkers and twin AA's. usually.
Moo's Defense Agency is the mod pack yeah. Also yes the dual cannon turrets and their upgraded chaingun turret are both very effective. Dual cannons for range and chaingun for pure DPS.
