I have personally read a book entitle "The Great controversy between God and Satan"by Ellen White, this book gave me a vivid understanding of the Roman church and the protestants formation,. Is time we read for ourselves to know the truth irrespective of our church affiliation. There are even some christian festivities that were included in the christian calendar.The truth is that, catholic church is the forerunner of most of the christian religious practices.( they changed times, days and season according to Daniel in his prophecy)
How can u worship Mary when Jesus said He is the only way to the father. How can u pray to Mary when Jesus said if we ask anything in His NAME He will do it that the father may be glorified. Where in the bible did we hear d Mary is God. The bible says true worshippers shall worship the father in spirit and in truth where did we heard Mary's name. Man of God continue to speak the truth the world would have been a better place if we have faithful men of God like u.

Man of God I totally agree with u pouring of libation is a sin my pastor just recently mentioned this same statement. People of God let's just not be deceived. We must search the word of God thoroughly because most people are being led astray in the name of denomination. what the man of God is saying is the truth and nothing else. I love Evangelist Akwasi Awuah for his great and eloquent speeches. Unfortunately, some of his presentations exhibit his enormous ignorance, especially, of the Sacred Scriptures and of Church history. It's a pity that, in this day and age, a faith preacher limits all truth to the Bible. Maybe, he can pray for the gift of humility. Peace be unto you!

I really like your comment, however i still do agree with Mr Mainooh's comment in that many people don't know much about the catholic church let alone the rosary and Mary. The rosary prayer is more Christ and Scripture centered than most people think. Below is the structure of the rosary just to buttress my point.

WHERE DID THE "HAIL MARY" CAME FROM?
The "Hail Mary" written above has the scriptural references after each line. Some Evangelicals feel
that it is blasphemous to say that Mary is "Holy." Peter quoted Jesus, "You shall be holy because I
am holy’" (1 Peter 1:14-16). I don't think Evangelicals would think that is blasphemous. Jesus said
that human beings shall be Holy, because Jesus is Holy, and also Mary is Holy because Jesus is Holy.
Her holiness is derived from him. Mary's obedience to God and closeness to Jesus made her holy.
Our nearness to Jesus makes us Holy.

+Samuel Forkuo It must be acknowledged that Jesus - our Lord and God, never wrote, nor did He commission His apostles to write (Mk. 16:15). The only time He wrote was in the sand (Jn. 8:6). It must also be acknowledged that, the first Gospel was not written while Jesus lived, but about 30 years after His Ascension. And so analytically, one would pinpoint what may be called "Solemn Contradictions" that attest to the fact that one actually needs to go beyond the "literal" reading and understanding of the Gospels (and, in fact, the Bible as a whole). For instance, the Last Words of Jesus, have been differently described or narrated - Mt. 27:46-50; Lk. 23: 46; Jn. 19:30. The Sermon of the Lord - Mt. 5:1-2; Lk. 6:17,20, to mention but a few. Lastly, in reference to your quote of Galatians 1:7-9. I humbly think that it would be interesting if you could critically research into why "Paul" or the author wrote this piece to the Galatians. I believe that in the end, you will appreciate why among the lots of works that there are, in most Christian traditions, the New Testament comprises 27 books. Stay blessed!

Thanks so much for the response. But you see, let me address few issues, brother
1. The fact that John recorded that there were things about Jesus that were not recorded in the Bible DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE BIBLE IS NOT EXHAUSTIVE. In fact, all that there are, for a person to make it to the Kingdom of God, are captured in the Bible. So why should I believe what was not recorded in the Bible more than what is recorded? God knows why He didn't allow certain things about Christ to be recorded. That is why I believe what is recorded in the Bible more than Traditions and Dogmas which are not recorded in the Bible.
2. I must repeat, every THEORY/DOGMA/TRADITION/TEACHING/DOCTRINE THAT IS IN CONFLICT WITH THE WORD OF GOD MUST BE TREATED AS CHAFFS. ON ANY DAY, WE MUST CHOOSE THE BIBLE OVER MAN'S OPINION. If any man says he has had a dream/revelation/vision etc and it is not in tandem with the Teachings of Christ and the Early Church, my friend, we must discard it. THE BIBLE IS THE YARDSTICK, THE MEASURING ROD, THE FINAL ARBITER.
3. Jesus often rebuked the Pharisee for destroying God's Commandments with Man's Traditions/Dogmas/Opinions/Teachings. We need to be careful.
''Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that." JESUS CHRIST Mark 7:13
''Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.'' PAUL, Colossians 2:8
I believe you might have had some teachings as a Catholic which had made you come to believe in Traditions. But since we see Traditions as FALLIBLE and the BIBLE IS INFALLIBLE, LET'S SEE THE BIBLE (THE WORD OF GOD) SUPERIOR TO ANY TRADITION.

No one is saying Mary is not important; If not anything at all, we know God favoured her by using her as Channel to bless us with Christ.
However, we are NOT SUPPOSED TO WORSHIP HER. The angel didn't worship Mary. None of the Disciples worship Mary. Nowhere in the Bible are we told to worship Mary.
Let me repeat; Mary is important but must NEVER BE WORSHIPPED. ONLY GOD, FATHER, SON AND HOLY SPIRIT, MUST BE WORSHIPPED. PERIOD.

I didn't understand anything but if they are speaking great about the one true Catholic Church which is the church that Jesus sent to men for Christianity then I have no problem with positive preaching unfortunately I really could not understand anything this person was saying but if you are Catholic God bless you Christianity is a beautiful thing I love being a Catholic and I thank God everyday since I was raised Protestant
