The length of the line can be as of the multiview. If the pictorial drawing is given, the multiview will be constructed first with the intended scale. Then the auxiliary view can be drawn with a measurement of each portion as indicated in the video. You might refer the examples worked in Telegram channel t.me/kasmatutorial/77
