I don't think the m4a1 is all that, it shakes the scope too much even though it's well calibrated, it's saved by the 60 barrel, for me the best is the Sg552, very low recoil, good range, the only negative thing about it is having a 45 bullet magazine

I prefer the M700 with the short barrel and modified lower housing for short range sniping with faster rate of fire.

if you calibrate everything for control, you might notice your ADS speed is kinda slow. putting a laser on the weapon improves the ADS speed and, depending on the gun, adding on a laser sight counters a lot of the negative ADS speed, meaning you can calibrate all other parts of the weapon for control

My favs, kind of aggressive play style:
Assault: SSG552 or whatever its name is.
Medic: MP5
Engineer: I feel like Car-15 is still the best
Recon: not playing much but i tried VSS auto is good, although vertical recoil is high af

Gun is Close - Medium range. but you can still reach out for a kill if need be. this is my best performing version overall so far. looking into better builds as the guns get balanced. M14 will probably receive a recoil reduction both visual and horizontal to make it more competitive

I personally main the M4A1 and MP9 focusing on control and stability, I prefer shooting from a distance away so i don't focus on handling and accuracy
