Thank you for all your tutorials it s very interesting. I Have a question, shoundnt we use the IOR parameter befor use Sheen ? I was a mental ray user, and i used to tweak IOR 24 miror, 19 metal 16to8 for old metal, 1,8 for lacquer paint 1,6 for opaq plexiglass, 1,4 paper, 1,3 leather 1,2 fabric etc..... with less or more glossy , and reflection always on white with exception of course. VRAY is different ? i dont understand the interest of sheen in fact. Thank you in advance for your advices

Sheen is for Cloth (Soft objects). Thin film is for Glass. yes you can tweak IOR that didn't change. Just check the presets drop down for metals - to discover IOR values...

    Hello sir,
I'm watching your tutorial from long-time and i learn lot's of new things from it thankyou for sharing your experience with us.
I'm facing problem with new vray version
In this version vray material preview shows half the sphere and i can't change its object preview (sphere, cylinder, box).
and after some interactive it's completely Black. If it's possible to solve it ?
