IMG is technically a high school with accreditations to prove it. It operates like a college to prepare students for the transition into college, but it is NOT a college.

AlmightyCasto they're only rich because they're also a training facility for PROFESSIONAL athletes of course they have top of the line stuff
They charge them tens of thousands of dollars for it to, mostly just for the exposure it brings these kids. The difference with IMG and other private schools is that IMG is solely there for the sports and not education. Yeah they have class and everything so they can qualify to play NCAA but its basically a place where good players can go and pay through the nose to get their scholarship to Alabama or wherever. That said, yes players all around the nation choose which High school they want to play for. People move to Las Vegas to go to Bishop Gorman or De La Salle or Allen. But they're often still mostly bringing players from their greater geographical area, not the entire country. Additionally, most private schools don't actively recruit as like a college would, IMG certainly does and thats why they will never take part in Florida state playoffs.
I think you need to visit IMG first before you make that type of comment. I took a visit there and they are on point with their academics.

Nice a Junior college team beat a highschool team very impressive. But jokes aside, if you watched the game you know the 40-20 score is very misleading, it was a 1 possession game till the last 5 min of the 4th quarter. Cen had their playbook cut in half once Mckee went down, so all they could do is run and throw fades and a dream, and the back up looked like he was 12 years old going up against nfl players. A win is a win but don't be naive and say IMG dominated this game or that it wouldn't be completely different if Mckee was healthy.

I know this a year late, but that’s IMG’s specialty. Their resilience. If they are ever playing close, or down, they always come back or pull ahead in the second half. Yes, Texas cannot recruit but players can come if they want to be part of a team. They need to have a family member guardian or some sort to be part of the school district attendance although there's a chance they may not play for a year just depends if UIL lets them.
