When thinking of Givenchy Pour Homme Blue Label, I'm always reminded of my student years: cold mornings, new friendships and discoveries. Like an old and faithful ally, Blue Label witnessed most of them and it was only fitting that I turn to the beautiful creation from 2004, once again. An unassuming scent, versatility personified it done by Alberto Morillas for Givenchy and feels like it belongs at least 7 years earlier, in the Acqua di Giò dominated scene. Despite their similarities, I find Blue Label to be more somber, elegant and mature, while echoing the same fresh playfulness.
