@@TMGYachts by the way although I am from Egypt 🇪🇬 the excellent videos from the multihull group about lagoon 42 are one of the major reasons I bought a lagoon 42
One of the new upgrades are the new engine instruments . Any chance of you covering them please because frankly I prefer the old style. I need convincing!
Hi there, we have not had chance to fully experience there controls. However, I do love that they are smaller and so there is now enough space for a windlass remote and chain counter on the console.
The Lagoon 42 can definitely can be single handed. Unfortunately I do not have a top speed this is hard to measure for these types of cruising cats as it will not only depend greatly on the wind, direction, tide and experience and technique of the skipper but also the load and weight of all additional belongings and options onboard.
I believe it’s a standard supply now but it lacks back support higher up . It’s like they stopped short of designing the perfect seat. Two adults fit with a squeeze
@@BarracudaHawk spot on. The old seat was fairly comfortable and had great back support. The new one has the option to lean against (which is great) but looks terrible for back support. The step is a must (but also an easy after market add. He talks about seeing the water, but really it is about seeing the anchor or mooring ball in and anchorage or docking.
I think lagoon build a beaut yacht I wish they would stop using balsa wood and ply for constructing. If the changed they could very easily give all other yachts s run for the money
The improvements at the helm are spot on! Hoped they would upgrade the plastic covers for ropes on the aft. They just brake at first touch!
Thanks, nice improvements, great boat
Looks fantastic! Cheers mate! 🍻

Thanks for pointing this out. These options weren't onboard so it was hard to show these but we are glad you are happy with these other improvements.

Is this helm seat new from Lagoon or an aftermarket product?

@@BarracudaHawk ok that's really good to know. It did look like he was reclining a bit in the video e.g. not much upper back support.
