DSI | Dienst Speciale Interventies | 2021 | Dutch special police unit

The Dienst Speciale Interventies (DSI) is the most elite unit within the Dutch police. They are capable of quickly responding to any domestic terrorism and major crimes threat. They are the only unit in the world to consist out of members of elite units within both the Dutch police and the Dutch military. DSI members from the military can come from three different units, from Korps Commandotroepen (KCT), the Dutch army's special forces, from NLMARSOF M-Squadron, the counter-terrorism unit of the Dutch navy special forces and from the Brigade Speciale Beveiligingsopdrachten (BSB), the elite unit of the Koninklijke Marechaussee.

It is not a special Police unit it is a coop between cct and royal marines and the police that took over a part of the dutys of bbl of the military Police...now under M and C squadron
