Given that FB punishes off site traffic diversion, should we consider doing separate but similar videos for FB, Instagram, TH-cam etc??

But there are ways to outsmart the algorithm. i.e. posting quality and consistent content, posting on your story, posting videos! Instagram is competing with other platforms like Tik Tok/Snapchat so give them what they want and use their platform to create videos. They will likely increase your reach.
