We’re now at the end of the second week in July 2024. Today, a gunman shot at Donald Trump abt 5 minutes after he began a rally in Pennsylvania (I think that’s where it was held). Although security was very tight, the gunman was on the roof of a temporary building beyond the security perimeter. He had a direct line to the stage. A bullet grazed Trump’s right ear and he was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment. He’s fine. Unfortunately, at least two ppl in the audience were hit; one died. The other is in critical condition. It looked to me like there may have been others that were injured but not seriously. All of the ppl there, including media, initially thought they heard firecrackers go off. There were 8-10 shots fired in rapid succession. Your reading was quite accurate!! I speculate that trump may not have paid his bill for the venue?! Or maybe the shooter was in the military and was promised something by the prior trump administration? Something that he never received?? Before the shooting, 10 or more ppl passed out due to the heat. No shade and an insufficient supply of water were reported to be contributing factors that caused so many calls for medics. The shooter was dressed in military fatigues.
