Easier way is to just get a C5810 camera and you can just plug it in or a C5830 which is the same but the C5830 has better range cuz it has a antenna on the outside but it is also bigger and because of that you have to use a rubber band to hold it on and also you can't put the shell back on
great flight and mod bro. As I get into fpv and carbon fiber frames Cant say I am to crazy about the plastic frame on that bird. But the flight time is great on that. Havent ever tried the bugs. I am looking forward to flying 3s and 4s with the lizard and wizard
Merch RC I already have two batteries that are 7.4v 45c that will fit the battery bay of the mini. However they have xt60 plugs. Reason I was thinking of wiring the mod with XT60. What are your thoughts?

Was this your first flight?.........If so fly for another 4 flights and see how things are, I just checked mine and the lights started flashing at 7.65V.
It might be the JST plug that's why i used XT30 because it pulls more amps but when i tested the quad today i used the stock battery..........maybe check the stock battery at LVC then you will know.
Height is 17.95mm width 34mm and for the lenth i measured the stock battery including the plastic case clip at the back 68mm,Do not go over these measurements or the battery will not fit,i would take the lenth down to 60mm minus the stock backing but that is up to you it would not make much difference imo. Yor welcome.........It's going to be a tight fit but,if not just sand away a little plastic,you will also need to loose some of that thick wire on the battery it is too much by the looks of things.
Hi, I received the batteries, fortunately they are smaller than stated on the site. they measure 34mm x 14.5mm x 72mm .... I'm sure they'll be fine. I was thinking about performance, these are 20 - 30 c disharghe while the originals are 45 c .... what do you think?

5:05 Solder Flux will not remove PCB conformal coating... It was not designed for that.
Yes i know this but i always use flux anyway because it helps bond joints together.

It may not be as clean looking for the battery mod but couldn't you just bridge the pins as opposed to soldering the main board?
Makes no difference tbh because you can still use the stock battery.
True I guess you could do it my way by just soldering the pins but then you would definitely not be able to use the stock battery

That depends how fast you fly and if you are doing flips,If i remember right it was around 8 minutes.

The bigger the battery you use the pefrmance will drop and yes extra weight could damage the ESC-motors.
