@@ktosmiy9701also, the pajama warriors have a larger unit size, which would normally be a good thing, but actually works against them in these “no tactics” tests once their men start flying.
Huh i was wrong. Guessing it was because the only time i saw this matchup was in campaign when bezurkas single handedly routed all my hastati and princpies leaving my cavalry and velites to keep fighting. I play all my campaigns in VH which explains it.
@qualityoldgames7721 yep. With bronze attack upgrade. My guys had a silver attack with bronze defense. I knew my principies would lose that fight but I never expected them to rout so quickly that the bezurkas in essence became a lawnmower mowing down my entire line.
You know, I just recently tested Eastern Infantry (Parthia) against Levy Spearmen (Sassanids). It’s pretty easy to just stick the RTW units into BI by adding them to a BI faction. Might be fun to do RTW vs BI units on the channel, like German Berserkers vs Lombard Berserkers!
Yeah Any Roman, or Late Middle Barbarian Tier Infrantry will overwhelm any other infantry unit by simple frontal assault field battles as long as they have massive amounts of Reserves. Thats why Cav is so powerful. If you are able to Snipe a General and Rear Charge Enemy Units you will always cause a Mass Rout unless they are Elite.
Not too surprising that the roman tier 2 infantry completely outshines the pink pajama people in this match-up, but how well would lesser tier 2's have fared? I'm guessing hoplites and pikemen would also do well against a frontal assault, but iberian infantry or hillmen wouldn't.
@@qualityoldgames7721 I still cry every night for our beloved Easter Pajama Infantry. Lets goooo! The chad Hastati have risen to the occasion! Roman Excellence once again reigns supreme. Never doubted them for a second *looks at camera*.
Advisor: Your leader is dead, now how will your men fight without a general?
Berserkers: We had a general?
Haha :D Indeed. Thanks for the comment.

The poor PJ men have been avenged.
True :) Thanks for the comment.
finally they can arrange another slumber party not being worried about half naked german men
They do significant damage, but are defeated through superior numbers and discipline. Not wearing pajamas is also a plus.
Well put :) Thanks for the comment.
Exactly what I expected.
Hastati with a moral of 6 and their decent stats can easily beat berserkers with that advantage in numbers
Thanks for the comment. Agreed, they are quite a bit sturdier :)
This test proofs that eastern infantry has a debuf for fighting in pajamas.
They had better stats than these hastati, yet they died horribly.
That's because non-phalanx spear units have debuff attack against infantry. Swords are supposed to counter spears in this game
Pajama Men? We put their name to the test.

Thanks for the comment. I don't think they have actually better stats :)
@@qualityoldgames7721 I think he's referring to the maxxed out Pajama Men.
This proves the weakest roman can beat the strongest pajama man.
But please hope strongest pajama man was one in per unit and not many per units
emm.. did you see pajamas vs town watch?)
At least vs Berserkers :) Thanks for the comment.
The weakest Roman would be Peasants or at least Town Watch.
Berserkers had 437 kills, I knew they were strong but damn!
Yea, that was quite nice :) Thanks for the comment.

Thanks for the comment. Yea, the difficulty buffs can be quite decisive. Was it only 1 Berserker unit?

@@danielbalderrama4137 Impressive :)
Probably would've ended even faster if the Hastati used their Pilla
Easily. The berserkers would have been at half strength before the scrum
Probably very few if any casualties for Hastati :) Thanks for the comment.

Could 20 units of Maxed Out Town Watch beat 1 Berserker Unit ?
Let's find out :) Thanks for the suggestion.
Hastati are tougher than they look. Next in snow and forest?
Thanks for the suggestion. I will add that to To-Do list :)

It's a total destruction of the Berserkers.
Well predicted. With Eastern Infantry it is often the other way around :D Thanks for the comment.
