The forks were originally silvered but constant cleaning has taken them back to brass, not sure I would use them in that condition. I use mine for buffets, for picking up the ham etc. I am a crafter so all those button, laces and the green book with all the old photos in were so good, I just wanted to be there so much. Great video. You showed such a variety of lovely things at a nice slow pace. The environment was so picturesque with the old buildings. If you see something you like you should buy it because most likely you won't find another one. That old picture frame in the beginning, for example, was quite unique. I wouldn't have your self discipline in a situation like this. Money will come again but many pf these treasures won't.

At your markets…do people usually ask the seller if they can give you a better price? We do at our markets & sometimes they usually will. Love all the hand made items trims & I love monogrammed linens! Ooooooo! Loved the beautiful big blue transfer ware bowl near the end of your video!….the one with the big crack!
Hello again! Yes, I live in Dordogne, in the southwest of France. I often see people trying to negotiate. I’m not very good at it, but usually, after I ask for the price and hesitate, they start to lower it.
At 11:50 the dish is similar to the one I saw in Sense and Sensibilty movie when Maryanne is very ill and they are performing blood letting on her on her arm as it was thought to be a remedy for infection. The notch was for her arm placement .You can check to see if that is correct.
