🎶Oh, Doctor Beeching, What have you done? There once were lots of trains to catch, But soon there will be none! I'll have to buy a bike, 'Cos I can't afford a car! Oh, Doctor Beeching! What a naughty man you are!🎶
For my money, Oh Doctor Beeching was the best of the Su Pollard / Paul Shane sitcom trilogy. I do accept that its traditional sitcom formula perhaps felt a little dated for the late 90's, but that's not to say that it wasn't good. Being in my late teens at the time, this kind of show wasn't exactly aimed at my demographic. But I loved it, and the BBC were mad to let it go after only two series'. This is one that slipped through their fingers, it was a classic in the making yet didn't stick around long enough to really become a firmly remembered legend such as Hi-De-Hi.
Oh Doctor Beeching how do you are? There once were lots of trains to catch, but that's the end of that. I'll have to buy a bike, coz I can't afford a cat. Oh Doctor Beeching what a naughty man you are?!

That image quality is SO not High Definition, but the audio quality is quite superb.

I would say Oh Doctor Beeching is tied with You Rang M'lord? For best Su Pollard/Paul Shane/Jeffery Holland sitcoms.
@@steamandsmoke97With Peggy, Spike and Ted!
I love her singing voice
This theme was loosely based on 'Oh Mr Porter' I believe.
I can’t see the door
