I just finished the show and I can't believe how brilliant and impactful it was. I needed this interview! I wish the show was first released on Netflix so the right audience could have been reached immediately!
How in the world does this channel only have triple digit views??? All these accomplished people, great interviews and high production value. I don't get it AT ALL.
That would be AMAZING!! I would definitely return to watch!!! My favorite episode was where they crashed the diner in a power outage Kevin caused and how the dynamic of the ensemble shifted like never before between the beginning and end of the episode. Every piece of the show was stunning. I would Love to hear an Episode breakdown on the first episode and diner power outage episode!!! 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 Much Love!!
I feel like youre someone my Mother paid to do an interview with me 😆😂I'm CACKLING rn!!!! 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 That was the perfect line!! Thanks for this interview, I want to watch it again, thanks for listening to Your intuition and making the Show happen. Excellent work inside and out! 🖤💜💙💚💙💜🖤 Much Love!!!
WHAT an INCREDIBLE interview with an absolute genius of a showrunner. I've been dying to hear any behind the scenes info I can find since I binged KCFH, and it is such a pleasure getting to hear Valerie Armstrong's takes on everything. I especially loved hearing her insights on the sitcom format and what it represents, because every single woman knows exactly what it's like to see certain men get by with no consequences. And it was even MORE interesting to hear her specifically talk about how Allison's mother pertains to this as well, because so many women have the same narcissistic tendencies that guys like Kevin do. It was also so refreshing to hear her say that Allison was not "marrying her father" with Kevin, that she was really "marrying her mother". In some fan discussions I have seen people say that they think Allison's father must have been abusive/like Kevin, when to me it was always so obvious that her mother's abuse was at the root of everything. (And it also made me sad to think that both of her parents would have been abusive, I like to imagine that her dad was a positive figure in her life.) THANK YOU Valerie for making such a deeply relatable show. I see myself so much in both Allison and Patty, and maybe even a little in Neil, too. I hope that Valerie goes on more podcasts soon, and I would definitely love to see her back again on this one. I absolutely cannot wait to see what she creates next!! (Also, I selfishly hope we someday get some kind of reunion of the cast for something, even though the show ended perfectly, i miss them all lol)
I would love her take on these “reality” but not true reality shows. I think we, as the audience, can see the contrast between the characters on the reality show vs the struggles that happen off camera in real life. There is a show “sister wives” where the main character, the husband of 4 wives, is a goof but it slowly becomes real of how abusive he really is. It was like the wives and this kody guy tried to cover up the “single camera” life for many seasons until we start seeing the wives leave and confirms the audience concerns that the husband is controlling etc. Super interesting to compare the sitcom life to this new take on mock sitcom drama which also contrast a reality show.

This show is profoundly sick in so many years. But sadder still are the empty shells who enjoyed it.
Is the play 'No Exit', originator of the phrase "Hell is other people?"
Yes, I looked it up this morning and that’s what I read
Getting a little tied of John Mulaney…hopefully he has a new joke by now
