The very last NHL for PC that better/on par with some consoles (they used to always be better on PC until the PS3/360 showed up). Me and my friend played periods and probably had 20 campaigns over the years, I played it until 2011 pretty much, because I was able to get AI sliders updates (it was difficult for the common mortal to improve the AI with many of those sliders, those patches made by the community made the game so damn great, the computer was 3-4 times harder than the virgin game, plus the lineup updates. But that community kind of died, so I stopped playing, but it's still the best NHL game (on PC) so far, and we were lucky back then, the PC version was always better than the console versions, especially when playing against the computer, the AI/programming was always much better for PC versions, that's the last year it was so. Unfortunately, NHL '08 was just a copypaste of '07 and nobody was making patches to ameliorate that game since so many people were doing it for '07, and '09 was still a copypaste, not a sudden improvement like the consoles got that year on PS3/360 and I guess even Wii had an NHL release or two after that. We were promised '24 was coming for PC this summer, but now when you look for pre-ordering on EA's site, there's a section that says Will the game be coming out for PC and Nintendo Switch? The answer was no. First they ignore use for 14 years then they outright lie to us. I bought my freakin' NHL games on PC, even if sometimes I got some pirated version first, I was a young poor college student in the early-mid '00s, I was glad enough that I could often pick up NHL '04-05-06 for PC at Staples for like 30 CAD. Now the CAD is back to its mid 90's value which means it would be even worse, but piracy of ps1/ps2 and xbox versions of EA games happened just as much if not more, so that argument is null and void. ~ A NHL for PC gamer since NHL 95 that I played with my Gravis Gamepad, y'know that SNES like gamepad everyone had for PC, the gamepad issue was never an issue, when the games became more complex, Logitech always had PSx-like controllers that work just fine, I miss my wireless Logitech I played most of '04 and '05 on my PC with.
Out of all them. This 1 was a blast [psp] currently .sold the others
