Yes, studio can fix the flaws, but singing live gets the adrenaline going or could bring out the nervousness in a singer, so hard to compare. Putri is so young and blind and English is not her native language, so she had to overcome a lot. Mori is Mori, but is the most experienced by far. Samantha was 23 or so when she recorded this, and not in a studio, so who knows? And that was in 2016- a long time ago.

There are many live performances of Lucy if you search online for them, however there are only a few here on TH-cam, but you can find them. There were some recent concerts for a VIP Texan billionaire and for Sir Cliff Richards, but these were quickly made private or removed. Furthermore yes most of Lucy’s 70 videos are amateur and ‘basic’ studio recorded (the same as Whitney Houston etc), but don’t be fooled that Morissette and other singers (like the Putri video just seen) are also post produced, so just because they look ‘more live’ the audio you hear can be remastered. In fact there is a TH-cam video (O Holy Night) which uncovers Morissette supposedly singing live, but the vocals have been post processed through a computer and corrected. I have all of her albums, but all the recordings on the Lucy Thomas Music channel are studio recordings, not live recordings, including this one. The only exception is the video "TV Interview and Live Performance of Never Enough." Because of the pandemic, it's difficult to find any live performances of Lucy's since she was around 15. This is supposed to change as I've heard she is doing a concert this spring. Later in the year, she's supposed to start performing the musical _Rosie_ on stage.

The live video of her at the Calon FM Fundraising concert when she was fifteen is very impressive, and definitely, as I said, live. I haven't seen anything that seemed to have been shot on a phone. My point is just that the recordings released on her channel are official recordings from her albums, and are studio produced recordings rather than live ones (just like the recordings you see on the channels of other artists who have released albums and produced official videos). She gives the impression in the 'official videos' that she is singing in sync to the studio recording, but the studio recording is what they publish with the video.

I’ve watched Lucy live and close up. I’m front row at Lucy’s Manchester concert is 5 weeks which has sold out. Plus I’ll be going to London West End to watch Lucy star in the live stage musical ‘Rosie’ in autumn 2024. There are many live performances of Lucy if you search online for them, however there are only a few here on TH-cam, but you can find them. There were some recent concerts for a VIP Texan billionaire and for Sir Cliff Richards, but these were quickly made private or removed.
Furthermore yes most of Lucy’s 70 videos are amateur and ‘basic’ studio recorded (the same as Whitney Houston etc), but don’t be fooled that Morissette and other singers (like the Putri video just seen) are also post produced, so just because they look ‘more live’ the audio you hear can be remastered. In fact there is a TH-cam video (O Holy Night) which uncovers Morissette supposedly singing live, but the vocals have been post processed through a computer and corrected. Which is not live and not even real.
Morissette is better in this song but Regine Velasquez gives this a peanut and a piece of cake.
Not even a contest Lucy Thomas is miles better then the others, she sings with pure emotion and has a flawless vibrato without attention seeking warbling and vocal gymnastics.

She lacks the vocal agility of morissette. Far from competitive. The timber, or voice quality is a subjective matter depending on preference. And that u can hardly judge the artists by their one or two performances. And basing on their experiences or how they maneuver quick changes in their vocal ranges and how they mastered various techniques in executing their respective performances, morissette is far ahead than the rest. But then again, one performance ca never illustrate how good the singer was.

I have all of her albums, but all the recordings on the Lucy Thomas Music channel are studio recordings, not live recordings, including this one. The only exception is the video "TV Interview and Live Performance of Never Enough." Because of the pandemic, it's difficult to find any live performances of Lucy's since she was around 15. This is supposed to change as I've heard she is doing a concert this spring. Later in the year, she's supposed to start performing the musical _Rosie_ on stage.

@@wilburfinnigan2142 Well, if I didn't think she was good, I wouldn't have her albums. The live video of her at the Calon FM Fundraising concert when she was fifteen is very impressive, and definitely, as I said, live. I haven't seen anything that seemed to have been shot on a phone.
My point is just that the recordings released on her channel are official recordings from her albums, and are studio produced recordings rather than live ones (just like the recordings you see on the channels of other artists who have released albums and produced official videos).
She gives the impression in the 'official videos' that she is singing in sync to the studio recording, but the studio recording is what they publish with the video.

I haven’t listened yet, but I want to caution those who comment, that you can have a favorite singer, BUT THERE IS NO NEED TO PUT DOWN THE OTHER SINGERS. There are certain people who I won’t mention by name, that have a habit of doing that, and need to stop doing it.
