I'm so done~ But, yes, the weird structure of English names compared to Korean names, for example, would just cause anyone not used to English to look over it. Also, not to forget, he could only read the Korean subtitles with the names, supposedly, in Korean (unless it keeps the names in English), so he not only lost 50% of the viewing experience (auditory understanding of the English spoken - let alone British English, not American, which is what's taught in Korea), he may have also lost reading the names in actual English, which is the language and format the comment was asking him to recall the information in, as subtitles often don't and/or can't directly translate between two languages.
