    What is Stereotactic body Radiotherapy?
SBRT uses 3D or 4D imaging and highly focused radiation beams in small number of sessions usually 1-8 sessions; to deliver high doses of radiation to the tumour or cancer. This results in the least amount of damage to the healthy tissues around the area.
SBRT is sometimes called stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR). When used on the brain, it is often called stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS).
Which tumours or cancers are treated with SBRT?
SBRT is routinely used in various types of cancers or tumours
    1. Primary cancer involving lung, liver, spine, prostate gland, pancreas.
    2. Secondary or metastatic cancer involving lung, liver, spine, bone, adrenal gland, lymph node etc.
    3. Benign non-cancerous tumours involving spine.
