Absolutely! Music is what kept my cousin alive after his ordeal with his now ex wife. It’s not that JD is making light of what’s going on it’s that his music is his therapy - a way to get on with living beyond the past.

IMO ... Johnny Depp definately needs a restraining order against Amber Heard, her clan and to block and contact information from her. She is an emotional vampire and definately not deserving of such an admiral soul. I feel Johnny got out of dodge like he did in moving room to room to get away from her. As well his integerity would not want to flaunt a win over AH. Also to be with his dear friend and to do what fills up his heart, play music. Good for you Johnny. I'm hoping any UK ramifications bar her from countries and Johnny can live where she does not have access to him. Although jail time for her injustice seems appropriate.
I completely understand the need to escape after an emotionally draining event. I attended my dog’s out of town competition the day after my mother passed away - just needed to get away from it all.
As a therapist, the biggest thing I tell my patients who have been through any type of abuse is to rebuild their life, to do things that they enjoy and weren't able to do while in that relationship. Depp is doing exactly what a victim a abuse is supposed to do.

He said it himself that hes finally got everything off this chest. This abuse was 6 years ago, hes probably moved on somewhat but now it must feel amazing to see the majority be on your side believe and support you. I think he's one of the bravest men I've heard of. Standing in front of a huge crowd after being in publically humiliated to the bone for something he didn't do. And don't forget he's swinging that guitar with. S short middle finger too. Can't be easy. Making music with friends, breathing air filled with musical notes laughter and no one judging him. His damaged finger is probably numb and sensitive at the same time and could be painful for years yet when he plays guitar.. I sliced my finger over 20 yrs ago and damaged some nerves and its still painful at certain times
@@bxxmb80 I don't know much about playing the guitar but he did say he got lucky with the finger. Evidently if the same thing happened to his other hand, he would have to relearn how to play.
Also many don't know it but my father had the same finger smashed off to the bone. Pretty much same I jury bone splintered it looks almost like Johnny's. But anyway the end of his finger doesn't feel like it used to. It actually hurts to touch stuff. The nerve endings are very painful. My father's hurt him til the day he died. Anytime he had to use that finger. So bless his heart. To do what he loves it's painful now. No doubt about it!!!!! He should be able to move on from the evil bish!!!!

He isn't a victim, he is a survivor. His life has been on pause since the divorce was filled, that's well over 5 years. That's plenty of time to heal and move on in able to come back stronger. I was a survivor of abuse and my partner got sent to prison for it last year. Same year I got my CDL and have been traveling the u.s. in my semi all 2022, this is the happiest and most freeing time I've ever felt in my life. Good for Johnny taking back control of his life, he deserves it. Amber needs to be the one sitting down for a while being that she was the one breaking her back to be everywhere slandering this Legends name for 5 years.
Johnny Depp is a musician. It's not only his love and passion, it's his sanity. I'm certain he was at peace on that stage.

Johnny Depp is an amazing person, to broadcast all his sins, his childhood, his pain to billions and then be able to continue doing what he loves? The strength this man has, the determination - he's my personal hero.
When I was 21 my dad passed away. I was absolutely crushed but my mum told me "you've got to live your life" because I felt guilty about being invited out to go drinking with friends. I did go out with my friends and I did have a good time because good experiences are needed to dilute the bad. Let this man live his life.

Trust me, as a survivor, not constantly thinking about the person who caused you physical and mental torture, is a gift from God.
The fact that Amber and her friends, are keeping track of his movements and are angry, that he is moving on and piecing his life back together, through the only outlet and support system he was able to keep, bedsides his family and inner circle,
says everything you need to know!
Victims do not stalk their abuser!
Victims do not get angry, that their abuser has found anything else to focus on, other than them.
Victims don't want to hear about, or know what their abuser is doing presently, and their support system is highly sensitive to that. When you are finally able to escape and move on, you are grateful, not angry.
It's been ten years, since I left the person who almost killed me. It's been eight since I've had to deal with his insanity, and every day that I wake up, and don't hear a thing about him, is a blessing.
I don't care what he's doing. I pray that he's not out there hurting anyone else, but everyone in my life knows, not to speak to me about him, because it's a trigger.

It is very common with abusers, to try to destroy the reputation of their victim, after they escape. That is the only way left, to torment them, and they give it everything they've got.

She has stuck to her bizarre narrative, and claimed that every single person who testified on Johnny Depp's behalf, many of them strangers, are all lying, and she and her freeloading pack of vampires, who lived on Johnny's dime, are the few truth crusaders.
Amber supporters really need to look at victims, their broken noses and lacerated faces, from repeated punches with big rings, cannot be hidden by make-up, gotten rid of with ice, or faded away by arnica cream, or amica cream, according to Elaine.
Her supporters need to research how victims behave. Trust me, they don't go from room to room, looking for their abuser, because he left the fight. They hide and stay perfectly silent, praying yet again, that they will survive.

Agree! The whole trial was to expose the lies and deceit AH have done all these years. No remorse whatsoever. She continued to call him Johnny which really infuriated me and I’m sure others. She is still obsessed with JD after all these years. I watched all of it and yes JD did drink and use drugs. I suspect to get away and feel good that’s what addiction does and as we all could see why he needed it since she was the one abusing him. So glad he got to tell his story even though it exposed his demons. He is now clean and sober. He finally lifted he burden after 6 years. Find some peace and happiness JD👍🏻. Hopefully we all get to see you back doing all that you enjoy doing.

You have just described an abuse victim perfectly. I too got away and all of what you said is absolutely true. I have found people who have not been a victim, sometimes have great difficulty understanding a real abuser and a real victims difficulty of getting safely away. Thank you.
After the total emotional exhaustion, embarrassment and constant feeling of being sat helpless while someone persistently lies about you slowly destroying what you spent a lifetime building I can’t think of any greater equaliser doing what you love and maybe even getting the reassurance that your fans haven’t abandoned you. For me, music is therapy for my soul. I don't see anything wrong with what he's doing. It's the same for him. Amber is just angry that he's free of her and he's moving on. He was able to tell what really happened to the world and we believe him. Something that she didn't think would happen. She even said so. I'm happy for him!

I know he was awarded money he will probably never see, but you would think that it would be some kind of a lesson. But she's too sick to learn a lesson.

The fact that he’s playing in front of a crowd in the UK where he lost his libel case with the Sun speaks volumes, especially a day after his case in the US ended with Amber Heard. This man deserves everything good coming his way and she deserves everything he’s had to endure because of her. Johnny Depp is the epitome of humility, strength, love, kindness, and he is one of the most spectacular human beings walking this earth.

@@SpaceRanger187 When you marry someone, it doesn't entitle them to do whatever they want, or treat you viciously. I am a true survivor of domestic abuse, and listened to AH's testimony. There was NOTHING in there that told me that she was "actually" abused. She talked a lot about JDs drinking, drug use, but she did the same.
Her testimony was extremely suspicious, and you could tell she was an extremely vindictive person, just by actions she did to others....AND to JD.
(I never knew who she was, even saw Aquaman)
I very MUCH sympathize with abused persons, but just didn't see it here. And, she....very much wants to hurt HIS career, and be vindictive and nasty. She's hurt other people's lives along her life. JDs background of SEVERE childhood abuse TELLS......why he could choose such a person like this. She resembled his mother, who was like this, and much worse. We survivors have a tendency to choose abusive people, and not even know we're doing it, but people DO what rhey KNOW, and are taught. And, until we learn differently, and learn to CHOOSE differently, it won't change.
I hope Jd does win his case, because after hearing both sides, AH did quite a lot to hurt J as much as she could. The recordings of her were disgustingly vicious. She was just mean, nasty, vindictive and TRIED to get Johnny to do something, to create a scene. Gaslighting, mouthy, insulting, berating, and more.
It's terrible that SO MANY people ACT this way today. It's NOT HEALTHY, and NOT good for ANYONE.

I’m so happy to see him doing this, it shows he’s starting to heal. As a victim of domestic violence, going through that, I can almost point out another victim out of a crowd, micro movements, body language and a look in their eyes. Johnny has this. Amber does not. He’s healing.. no matter what happens, he finally stood up and now he can reclaim who he really is.

There should be no praise or pity for victims. Instead encouragement to become post-victims as fast as possible.
There are a lot of positive things you can take away from Johnny being at that concert:
1) Stable people tend to pursue things that contribute positively to their overall health. Johnny is taking strides to do that.
2) Johnny shows how it is to move on while still making the best of his situation.
3) This public showing further proves how much the fans love and respect him.
4) He’s at ease because people who live free, for the most part, are those who live guilt-free.
5) Although the trial means a lot to him, he’s not letting it consume everything else about him, like his love for music.
AH will never leave him alone....he needs to obtain restraining orders. These types of people never ever truly go away, nor do they ever leave you alone. They want you to be less than nothing

One of the worst things you can do , especially a victim of DV, is to sit and think about the abuse you endured. Why would you want to do that anyway? Doing the things you love is a great way to heal! A lot of victims of DV either were not allowed to or stopped doing things they enjoyed.

At approximately 2am my husband (now ex-) was arrested and carted off to prison for DV, and at 9am that next morning I went and signed up in Martial Arts classes. I ended up getting my 4th Dan Master's qualification, and became their top International instructor, with around 2000 students of my own.

I can testify straight to this, as a musician for 40 years playing professionally for the last 30... when I'm at my lowest points amid my life, the one thing that brings me up and gives me ANY sense of peace and pushes me out towards "the light" so to speak, is grabbing my guitar and either creating some new music or hopefully scoring a gig. My oldest son is a mechanical engineer and a musician by hobby. When he is stressed out he goes into his home office and starts playing. He plays guitar, base, piano and drums. When he was in HS I knew his mood by his instruments and songs. I didn’t have to ask how he was doing. Made it ez for dad n I to talk it out. Music is so big in my family 😊

As a father of musicians (one a DV survivor), I can say that they are in their element when lost in the music. Music is cathartic and I fully understand Johnny releasing the tensions of the past couple of months by performing. (edit: I would also like to add that music is a far better coping mechanism than drugs or alcohol)

Just in case anyone forgot...a few days after she "opened up" about her "abusive" relationship she was photographed smiling and laughing with her best friend while walking down the street. I think she may have come out of a courthouse or another place directly related to the case, so her laughing and smiling was seen in a bad light. Folks who didn't believe her flipped out saying she was obviously lying because she was photographed laughing and smiling.
This was when the general public still generally believed her so there was a MASSIVE outpouring of support. People saying that just because a victim is doing something fun, enjoying their life, laughing, smiling, etc. it doesn't mean they weren't victims. It doesn't mean they are not dealing with pain. I had a friend who was raped and beaten and had to be hospitalized. A month or so, maybe more, after the incident she decided to go to a concert that she'd bought tickets for months before and arranged to have her ex-husband watch her kids. Her ex started telling people she was lying about the severity of being...raped and beaten to the point of requiring hospitalization...because she went to a concert. Victims are often told that they should not participate in life after victimhood, lest they find their support yanked out from under them because people think they weren't victimized enough if they can still enjoy life. Back when good people thought Amber Heard was the victim they stood up for her when she was photographed smiling and people said she shouldn't have been.
This is how you know what kind of people stand behind Amber Heard. Good people know that victims are allowed to enjoy their lives after being victimized, it doesn't mean they're lying about what happened. It means they are coping. The fact that Amber Heard's supporters are saying Johnny shouldn't be enjoying himself, trying to alleviate the pain, trying to make himself feel better, is extra disgusting considering that it's hypocritical and goes against the message so many of us tried to send out years ago. Just because someone is a victim of something does not mean they need to continue to be a victim forever.
Music and singing have, for thousands of years, been an escape for human beings across the world from countless cultures. People have long expressed or alleviated their pain through music.

I have always thought he was incredibly talented. I have never been one of those people that worship an actor or I think they are wonderful just because they are famous and have much money and talent. I watched the trial the same way. I had Covid so I had nothing to do so I watched it. It surprised me how riveting it was.. I also watched it unbiased but as time went on I could clearly see that the evidence was in Johnny’s favor. So many things did not make sense. I was also completely shocked at what people who claim to be professionals in psychiatry or doctors will do for money. These trial doctors or at least one in particular should not be allowed to practice. I’m glad to see he is free and I can’t wait to see him again. I hope he takes care of himself. I hope he uses this in his music and movies because he is special. When he talked about his family I knew that he was trying to be as honest and truthful as he could be and I figured out why he was with this woman. It made me realize how people try to fix what they do in the present things that it happened in the past if that makes sense it was fascinating. It was so sad to hear that but I found her completely not credible. She did what she did in my opinion to aquire fame and fortune. As a guitar player and singer myself, I can tell you that playing and singing even to myself in practice is nothing like it. Its the most stress free, non drug way to make yourself feel much better. So Amber can get a life and leave johnny alone.

Its apparent to me that Ambers final words in the trial of "I want him to leave me alone, I want to move on with my life" were clearly just another 'Pledged/donated' situation. I didn't know until closing arguments that she tried to begin a defamation suit before he did. I've known since the UK trial she's a big,fat liar, and every word out of her mouth in both trials were untrue. But, her little sob story of wanting to get on with her life when literally every year since they split she has dragged him through the mud one way or another, really, really shows that she is not a victim in anyway and not afraid.

As a musician, music is the most therapeutic thing ever. He’s letting out those emotions in a HEALTHY way instead of turning to substance abuse or anything else that is self destructive. People who believe Amber clearly haven’t watched the trials cuz there’s a plethora of evil against her. She was guilty. He is innocent. He needs to be left alone to heal, and music is the best thing for that.
