Something I never noticed till now, in the first story, the college student said the drive-in movie was a French Vampire movie w/ English subtitles, but I recognized it immediately. It's The Night Stalker, starring Darren McGavin. I was a huge fan of the movie and the TV series that followed. No matter how many times you watch a movie, you can always see something new.
Good catch. The only new thing I picked up this time around was that the college student who was hot for teacher was actually named Chad. I left another comment above how I did not think this was a coincidence. Cheers.
That doll scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Loved it! Watched Creature Features growing up. Wouldn't miss it! Thanks for your channel and all the creature fratures you show!

I remember watching this on a black and white TV in 1975 or 76. Halfway through my parents came home with our first color TV set. Dad hooked it up and I got to have the hell scared out of me by that damn doll!
This is one of my favorite Karen Black flick. The others were The strange Possession of Mrs. Oliver, and my ultimate favorite was Burnt Offerings! Thanks for posting this film!
who other than Karen Black can give a masterpiece performance with a phone, a doll & an oven? she proved to be genius in all three roles but the one with the doll was just her with her amazing acting skills!! that’s superb acting 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
THIS IS AWESOME!!! That was fun. Thank you Ozzie and crew (The show music, very Tim Burton). I grew up in Oakland, Ca in the 70's (Been to the Winchester Mystery House) and stayed up late on Friday nights to watch "Creature Features" with Bob Wilkins with his cigar and horned rim glasses on KTVU Channel 2. I was even a card carrying member. I saw this very movie on that very show, now decades later... here. Thank you.
I remember seeing the doll segment many many years ago, but had lost the title of the episode, now I know, thanks! I had forgotten the ending. This is by far the best movie you have shown, please keep up the good work.
Thank you very much for playing this. I have been looking for the doll movie for at least 3 decades, but I didn't know the name of it. I saw it when I was about 8 years old and it scared the crap out of me. I remembered it in my twenties and looked for it, but I didn't know it was a short movie. You just made my night guys.
"Trilogy of Terror"(1975) is a good enough horror anthology movie! The best story of the movie was the last one which has a very creepy and scary ending scene!
I love your show very much. My friend and pastor used to live in bodega bay back in the 50's and 60's. He played in the movie the (Birds) as one of the school children running from the attacking birds! Your Show reminds me of fright night with Hal Worthington which aired from 7:00 PM to midnight every Friday night back in the 60's.
I treasure the memories of watching this as a kid.Not so much the first two stories, but the last one about the Zuni Fetish doll.written by one of my favorite horror/sf/fantasy authors,Richard Matheson.
I'm fairly confident that most people recall "Trilogy of Terror" with only memories of the final story & that wicked little fetish doll & of course the "fabulous" (as the fellow introducing tonight's selection of terror put it) Karen Black.
Richard Matheson wrote all three of the stories here. He also wrote (amongst many others) 'I Am Legend' which was made into two seperate films 58 years apart and both starring major stars in their day- Will Smith of course '07 and Vincent Price '64' I've only just come across 'Creature Features' recently and love it.....

This movie scared the bejesus out of me when I was a kid... I truly enjoyed watching it again... thanks to Vincent, Mr Livingston and the ever beautiful ghoulish girl, Tangella.....
Your show is great. Love it. It's not a bunch of slasher films. You've seen one slasher film, you've seen them all. Similar plots just the names and faces have been changed. Keep up the good work. Love it.
OMG! I was 7 when this came out and my brother used to chase me around the furniture on his hands and knees making the tiki doll sounds...I NEVER forgot that and he and this movie...terrified me. Can't say I didn't enjoy it though scared out of my wits but loving it LoL. What a movie treasure
I saw this when I was 16, freaked me out like everyone else, to give you a idea how much I liked it, I have both Trilogy movies displayed on a folding table tray along with the Zuni Warrior doll I recently purchased !!! It looks exactly like the one in the first movie and yes the chain is around his stomach!! He was # 283, they made 500 of them, he was pricey but well worth it and what a collectible!! I’m sure he will keep evil spirits out of my house ! 🙂😅👍🏻

Yes, the mark of true horror is 1) being terrorized by the scary doll and 2) then ending up turning into a life-sized version yourself! It's a double whammy, being terrified by something from the outside which then becomes internalized and sort of colonizes you so that you've lost yourself--Yikes
In all honesty I know you guys do the best you can to show movies that people are asking for but they don’t understand licensing and budgets. Keep up the good work. Your show “Does Not” suck.😁
This was a great tv movie back in 1975- it introduced the infamous Zuni fetish doll. In 1996 the Trilogy Of Terror II was shown on tv and again the Zuni doll was in one of the stories. The actress appearing in all 3 segments for that sequel was Lysette Anthony. Trilogy Of Terror is available on a special edition dvd, and Trilogy Of Terror II is available on Blu-Ray only. But that doll continued to terrorize... his last movie was in 2013 and he was reunited with who else?.... Karen Black! Her character, Mrs. Allardyce, lives in a trailer park and yes, the Zuni doll was a gift who just had to keep giving. That third movie is called OOGA BOOGA.

One of the best/scariest made-for-TV movies of the '70s! As a child, when I first watched it, the Zuni fetish doll was the most disturbing part. Now as an adult, what's really disturbing is Amelia's relationship with her possessive mother as it reminds me of my own mother. Although she was by all accounts a good mother, she was also very manipulative, demanding and mentally draining.
