Ever since I turned "extended clean" on, the vacuum never returns to the dock to recharge for the next day's cleaning schedule. I end up finding it at some random place in my house with a low battery level. Is this the intended behavior? I can understand it running longer until the battery gets low, but then it should return to the dock before the battery dies in the middle of the house or in some random corner.
Thank you for finally coming out with another cordless upright vacuum, the Vertex Cordless Pro. That's how all cordless vacuums should be made. If I had to knit pick, make it a tad bigger and put a stronger motor and battery in there.
So nowhere does it mention or show you how to adjust the cleaning power between “eco, normal and high”?? I cannot find this information anywhere yet it is somewhere in the app, as I have stumbled upon it before!! Why isnt this listed in the manual, or in any video or on the web site??? Anyone who says the robot doesn’t clean well may need to use them”high” setting and then it works great!! So let’s go…..how do you do it? Where is it found? It’s not a big secret!!!

When "recharge and resume" is on, my robot returns to recharge when the battery is still at 70% capacity even when the dust bin is mostly empty so its not for emptying the dust bin, and the "evacuate and resume" is off anyway. That makes no sense and is extremely inefficient. It shouldn't return to its base until the battery is much lower (maybe 25%) or the dust bin is full. Is there a way to change the battery level before it returns to home base, other than just turning everything off and letting it go until it dies somewhere?

It shows it as gray on the app and says EXTENDED CLEAN IS OFF and when you select it, there is a dot there similar to the video, but it cannot be chosen/slid left to right. Same goes for the DO NOT DISTURB feature. It shows it as DO NOT DISTURB IS OFF and is gray and when you select it, there is a dot that cannot be toggled.

The app is absolute garbage. Look at all the negative reviews it has on the app store. They address nothing and it seems they have an absolute amateur software team in charge of creating it because nothing changes. Buggy, constant map deletion, never fully cleans mapped rooms, doesn't go to specified rooms half the time when commanded. You guys need to clean house in your executive offices for let this continue for so long.

I bought one based on some online AI vacuum review/consumer report page. All I want is to program the start time & days of the stupid thing, WITHOUT adding some useless app that likely reports everything from, how big my house is, when it cleans, when I'm home or not, how much dirt it picks up, how much traffic there is on my WiFi etc. . . enough. Had I read the app reviews first, I likely wouldn't have chosen this brand. What I am seeing here is consistent complaints, that get the same whitewashed BS answers, from a company that never addresses the real problems and limitation of their product caused by pizzpour app software. For now I'll just keep manually starting the Shark and just live with the results it yields. If I find the same frustrations with the app nearly everyone else complains about, I'd likely box it up and send it back. Ignorance is bliss, but I wish I'd have read more before purchasing.
The app is such junk! I just bought one, set it up today, and cannot keep the app from crashing. Deleted it and reinstalled it and it crashes again. Following the instructions here, it is impossible to click on the robots name because the app IMMEDIATELY crashes when you click on the robots name, over and over, instant crash.
How on earth a company like this does not have app support outside US.. I just bought this from Amazon and know i know i cant use the app in my country!!

With Alexa/google we can start and stop cleaning. Will we be able to have Alexa/google clean a specific room? Example kids played all day in the living room. “Hey alexa, send sharkie over to clean the living room”? So we don’t have to go into the app and edit its clean. (I know first world problems) but it’s just a thought to make the robot feel like a Star Wars robot
Nope. My Shark robot doesn’t have that setting. My shark cleans for aehile then returns to the doc befire the job is finished but tgd battery is still at 60%! I hate this vac. My old Shark Robot was so much better. Wish I had never bought this piece of junk.

you can do this with alexa schedule. create routine in alexa and then schedule in alexa

Hey Sean. You can select up to three rooms to clean using the voice command through Alexa "Alexa tell Shark to clean the (name of the room)"
