dave is a sweetheart. he holds no grudges, is a very hardworking person, and he tries his best. he may not be the luckiest, but he believes that something good will eventually happen to him. he deserves so much better, just thinking about what he went through made me so sad. it's also very disheartening to see dave getting so little love from the fanbase, people always think of him as "uwu anxious gay baby boy burt's boyfriend!" or "the dude in etp who forgot to check the cake". he's much more than that. he's a side character with a very complex personality, thank you for putting him in the top 5

Ainka Stewart I completely agree pal, but here’s the thing; Henry doesn’t have a distinct personality since the player has so many options on what he becomes. Is Henry a loyal high-ranking military officer? Or a cold-blooded traitor? Even in endings where Ellie tries to kill Henry she still acts in character, but with Henry his different personalities are so drastic from one another it’s hard to decide which one you like the most and if it even makes your top 5.
My Top 10 list of Henry Stickmin Characters: 1st - Henry Stickmin (Of course) 2nd - Ellie Rose (I actually like Ellie more than Charles because I found her being a better partner for Henry than Charles) 3rd - Charles Calvin (He could had been in the #2 spot but I found Ellie being slightly better than him) 4th - Right Hand Man (One of the coolest characters in the Henry Stickmin series. He also provided some decent humour in the game while being a dangerous foe to Henry) 5th - Dmitri Johannes Petrov (Like RHM, he is one of the coolest characters in the Henry Stickmin series and being a legit threat to Henry, except he lacks any comedic moments) 6th - Reginald Copperbottom (A well-written villain with a good character development. I mean, they're preference to steal/rob instead of work, they're personalities match more, and the most all, she and Henry kinda have each others backs more. With Henry saving Ellie, and Ellie saving Henry. But with Charles, his plans most of the time dont end up working or he ends up killing Henry. Btw I like Charles but Ellie seems more Henry in the way that she seems smarter when it comes to playing her role. So I prefer Ellie.

So. I have a theory of why Dave was in the Toppat's airship. If you pay attention in CtM you can see that the mayor of the city in StD, Gene Fredrickson, is actually a toppat. And his bio states that he fled the city after plans to smuggle a diamond out of a museum were discovered. So maybe, someday after Stealing the Diamond, Dave went to the mayor, Gene Fredrickson's office to talk to him about something, but he wasn't there. So Dave goes inside his office to check on him, and in the process, discovers the plans to smuggle the diamond. However, Gene comes in and catches him looking at the plans and in order to make sure no one discovers the plans, he kidnaps Dave and sends him to the airship as a prisoner. Something to support this is that the games not the bios ever state that Dave was fired again after StD as far as I know, so he may have never been fired in the first place. This also explains how in the Jewel Baron route, the reporter says that the Toppat's were thought to be behind the theft of the Tunisian diamond, so maybe even though Gene Fredrickson was successful with kidnapping Dave and making sure he doesn't eat him out, someone else much later found the plans instead and reported it.
My favourite characters from The Henry Stickmin Collection are Henry Stickmin himself, Ellie Rose, Charles Calvin, Dave Panpa, Rupert Price, Mr. Macbeth, Carol Cross, Sven Svensson, Burt Curtis and Right Hand Man, but none of them beat Reginald Copperbottom, who is my #1 favourite character of this game.
The best way to describe the two other protagonists and their relationships to Henry is like this: Charles is Henry's younger brother. He isn't always as mature, but it's proven he is brave, caring, and noble, willingly giving his life for Henry. Ellie is Henry's twin sister. They have similar backgrounds and personality traits, and Ellie is also able to pull random things out of thin air. In half the CA paths, Henry leads the way goal-wise, half the time Ellie does. But that's not the half of it. They both have an instinctive trust in each other, and coordination any other duo would dream of. It's like they have a telepathic link. In fact, it's like they were the same person, then underwent mitosis. This is why I believe Ellie deserves #1, not Charles, as funny as The Greatest Plan TM (trademarked by Charles) is.
For Dave, when I first played Henry stickmin flash, Dave was an interesting character. I see him in all 3 beginner games and thought with him there was only one route that was considered canon, sneak, epic, bounty, and presumed. Yknow I would believe that Sneak was the only ending Dave would get fired because he would be held responsible for henry escaping and Rupert killed(yes I always thought Rupert died from that prison metal bar in the flash games). For the rest of thr runs he would be let off the hook(lawyer) or not notice anything(badass)
Charles is the main character and I can tell if he does something bad it can either 1. Ruin his reputation (Half the fandoms love) 2. Just have it hidden by the fandom.
Also, Dave is did our whole collection. You know why? If there weren’t any naive guy like Dave, they have checked the box with things for Henry to escape with. So basically, he saved our collection by just being lazy lulz

9: Waxwell Gex (yes I know he only appears in jewel baron, but I like him for only one reason: he looks like Rupert who I love)

I fell bad for the guy, whereas Charles is the boi, he’s loved so much, he can’t get anymore love but he keeps getting it and that makes me happy, and that’s why Dave and Charles share this number one spot.)

My list is:
1) Charles, obviously.
2) Right Hand Man, cause he's just awesome.
3) Burt, because emotionless characters are always cool.
4) Sven, he's just a funny and a pretty boy.
5) Dave, because he's pretty fun to watch.
I called it! Charles is #1! Ellie is worthy of he #2 spot as well.
So. I have a theory of why Dave was in the Toppat's airship. If you pay attention in CtM you can see that the mayor of the city in StD, Gene Fredrickson, is actually a toppat. And his bio states that he fled the city after plans to smuggle a diamond out of a museum were discovered. So maybe, someday after Stealing the Diamond, Dave went to the mayor, Gene Fredrickson's office to talk to him about something, but he wasn't there. So Dave goes inside his office to check on him, and in the process, discovers the plans to smuggle the diamond. However, Gene comes in and catches him looking at the plans and in order to make sure no one discovers the plans, he kidnaps Dave and sends him to the airship as a prisoner.
Something to support this is that the games not the bios ever state that Dave was fired again after StD as far as I know, so he may have never been fired in the first place. This also explains how in the Jewel Baron route, the reporter says that the Toppat's were thought to be behind the theft of the Tunisian diamond, so maybe even though Gene Fredrickson was successful with kidnapping Dave and making sure he doesn't eat him out, someone else much later found the plans instead and reported it.
My favourite characters from The Henry Stickmin Collection are Henry Stickmin himself, Ellie Rose, Charles Calvin, Dave Panpa, Rupert Price, Mr. Macbeth, Carol Cross, Sven Svensson, Burt Curtis and Right Hand Man, but none of them beat Reginald Copperbottom, who is my #1 favourite character of this game.
The best way to describe the two other protagonists and their relationships to Henry is like this:
Charles is Henry's younger brother. He isn't always as mature, but it's proven he is brave, caring, and noble, willingly giving his life for Henry.
Ellie is Henry's twin sister. They have similar backgrounds and personality traits, and Ellie is also able to pull random things out of thin air. In half the CA paths, Henry leads the way goal-wise, half the time Ellie does. But that's not the half of it. They both have an instinctive trust in each other, and coordination any other duo would dream of. It's like they have a telepathic link. In fact, it's like they were the same person, then underwent mitosis. This is why I believe Ellie deserves #1, not Charles, as funny as The Greatest Plan TM (trademarked by Charles) is.
I like the trio of Henry, Ellie and Charles. That influenced me.

For Charles part when he was first I will add that he saved Henry from dying
For Dave, when I first played Henry stickmin flash, Dave was an interesting character. I see him in all 3 beginner games and thought with him there was only one route that was considered canon, sneak, epic, bounty, and presumed. Yknow I would believe that Sneak was the only ending Dave would get fired because he would be held responsible for henry escaping and Rupert killed(yes I always thought Rupert died from that prison metal bar in the flash games). For the rest of thr runs he would be let off the hook(lawyer) or not notice anything(badass)
Plot Twist: Even if Henry was put on the list Charles would still be first

Also, Dave is did our whole collection. You know why? If there weren’t any naive guy like Dave, they have checked the box with things for Henry to escape with. So basically, he saved our collection by just being lazy lulz
