Both of these sound so good! I'd heard about A Flicker in the Dark, but not All the Dangerous Things and I'm super hyped on both of them. Definitely going on the tbr.

Aah thank you for this review! Im currently reading All the Dangerous Things and still in chapter 5, but I have taken several pauses in between. So glad that you said that you had the same problem during the first 1/3 of this book. Now Im so excited to just read it and pass those first few chapters!

Yessss! Try to stick it out just a little longer and hopefully it will get better for you! The pacing will eventually pick up.

@@tysbookcorner I actually just finished it!! And you're right I like it very much and the plot twists surprised me. Now I feel sorry that I didnt trust her until the last 20% of the book hehe. Love your review and cannot wait to see more of it ☺

Thank you for the reviews. I put All the Dangerous Things on my library reserve list. It does suck that the podcaster doesn't actually come into play. I love stories that bring true crime podcasting into the story.

I love the podcasting part as well especially when listening to audiobooks. I hope you will enjoy All the Dangerous Things!

I loved All The Dangerous Things so much better than A Flicker In The Dark. Not that the latter was bad but I loved the story and the way it was laid out better.

The ending of All The Dangerous Things was my favorite! I loved how everything came together in this one.

Ohhh adding A Flicker in the dark to my list. I still haven’t read something that made me recover from reading Spare 😂

I have seen these covers everywhere and I have been wondering, whether or not they are good. Let me settle down.

Trigger warnings are not spoilers, they are about accessibility: (C-)PTSD is a disability.

I still mix up content/trigger warnings 🥴but I still struggle with deciding to mention content warnings for fear of possibly spoiling something for readers...

@@tysbookcorner You can flag them by adding a spoiler tag to the video or add them to the description, that people who dont want to be spoiled will skip for example.
As someone with PTSD who uses books to escape past trauma, it's always very painful and debilitating to unexepectedly read something, that will send me spiralling for a day or more.
And according the statistics, there are so many of us. Creating a safe place for survivors will never be wasted and always be appreciated. It should be as unproblematic as adding cc for people who have difficulties hearing.
