I am visiting in November. My first 5 days are in the Marriott Hotel Melrose Arch. Your video of the area sold me on that area. Any restaurant suggestions? or tourism suggestions?
Tasha's is my favorite in that area. My friends and I stayed in the Marriott Melrose Arch as well, and the people who work there are very nice, and the breakfast buffet is absolutely beautiful and DELICIOUS. Enjoy.
Ps. I'm coming back to Joburg next year, and I can not wait.

It is adjacent to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park- the site of the 2012 Olympics. Lovely place with a lot of greenery and canals.
