Men and women are like day and night , You can't mix them nor separate them; The interaction is in the middle . The congregation prayer at the time of the prophet was a mixed one ; Men in front , kids in the middle and women in the last row. WHAT MATTERS IS PROTOCOL AND ADAB TO BE FOLLOWED.
+Saad Zahid has a point. Classes should never be mixed because a simple gaze can ruin the young aspirants purpose of being there in the first place which is to seek knowledge. This is not a good example
Mixed classes is a problem? In this time and in America? We ought to acknowledge the good works they are doing before starting to criticize them for some minor, if at all, issue. May Allah remove envy from our hearts and open our hearts to see and acknowledge and help improve the good works people are doing. It is the common pitfall of our times that we look for issues and problems and then reject categorically whatever good work is being done by others. May God forgive us!
Islam's rulings have always changed according to the times and conditions right from the beginning after the passing of the holy Prophet. Real scholars and trained people in Sunna can tell us what is Islam, what are its immutable principles and what are those elements that can be changed and adjusted according to the times and conditions and finally how they can be adjusted accordingly. Peace.
