It was soooo busy that night, everyone had to be patient because no one was able to get anywhere or walk much without stopping every two seconds 🤣

I haven't been to this one before but from the background I can see Thai food and some international dishes. It must have had the whole of SE Asia there.

Pasar Malam / Night market Delicacies Passed down from generations, pretty much most of the stalls hold on to the basic ingredients which doesn't changed much.
Oh wow, that's cool! It was for sure the biggest market we've been to since Thailand 😁

This is not the longest night market but setia alam night market 😁 only open on Saturday. You can try the bbq pork, salted egg fish skin, apam balik 🤗

Please comeback next year on April for Ramadan Bazaar. It is a huge bazaar where there only sell street food. You can search in youtube for ramadan bazaar ttdi as reference.

@@sunkissedbucketlist it was forced to closed for 2 years due to the pandemic, and now once again it is open so everyone is like going crazy, as this market is actually not a tourist spot infact 99.9% are locals and its a once a week affair, so you can imagine everyone 's anticipation
If you are new to cendol, please try original cendol (or cendol biasa) first. you will love it and cheap too.
Cendol is amazing, we tried a few times without durian to get the feel for the original taste 🥰

that is not fry jackfruit... that is fry cempedak... jackfruit and cempedak have a very different taste... actually the seed can be eaten...

Thats called cempedak..the cousin of jackfruit. You can eat the seeds, it tastes like nuts.

Fun Fact: there will be a Night Market on any one night in KL but only once a week in a fixed place...
Then there are the uptown / downtown night markets that operate nightly every nite at a fixed place. (Every thing you could think of from kitchen ware / clothes & textiles, pre loved clothes, leather goods, hardware)

just curious.. do you not think the Thai night markets especially those in Chiang Mai are a lot more tidier and cleaner.. Malaysia may be more diverse.. but they need to improve on the street and surrounding environ hygiene..
We actually have found the markets and street food in general in both Malaysia and Thailand to be mostly pretty clean! We haven't had or seen any issues to be honest 😊
Lol its not jackfruit, its cemperdak. Jack is crunchy cemperdak is soft both if it’s probably fried the seed are supper yummy.

Did u try eating the honey jackfruit seed? If cooked it taste quite good, taste a bit like nut+potato.. But u have to peel the seed skin first..
No we didn't. We had no idea that you could even eat it haha but now we know 😊😊

@@sunkissedbucketlist Yes but it will be a turn off. Eat cempedak seeds instead. You wont like jackfruit seeds. Both fruits look alike but the taste differs by miles.
thats not fried jackfruit..thats fried cempedak..google it,then you ll know the differences between Jackfruit (Nangka) and Cempedak..Cempedak comes once a year like Durian..People usually dont fried Jackfuit (Nangka)..The seller probally doesnt know or he lies to you guys..haha..

I think there were a few Halal stalls but quite a few were Chinese stalls too! Some veggie options too 😋
